Few Vegan Options But They're Yummy! - Edit
The menu does not explicitly say which options can be made vegan, but the staff was helpful and made some suggestions. I got the Cayenne breakfast bowl and it was great. My mom got one of the baked hot cereals with almond milk.

Delicious but needs more options - Edit
I absolutely loved the veganised Hippy Bowl. So wildly delicious. However, they really do need more vegan options and the server didn't seem to know too much about vegan options. I really love the atmosphere though and wish they had more to offer vegans!

Unreal salad! - Edit
Talk about a salad! This thing was HUGE and was honestly the most delicious salad I think I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Highly recommend this place, what a gem of a place! Server was so lovely and made so many great recommendations for vegan options if they weren’t already marked on the menu. Delicious coffee too 🔥

Buddha Bowl tasty - Edit
I was happy to see several vegan options on the menu. The most hearty appears to be the Buddha Bowl. While flavourful, I found it to be a little light and I almost choked on the beet spears & sunflower sprouts. I capitulate that the choking is probably due to my rapid eating due to hunger. On the positive side, the staff is super friendly and it is a cheery setting. I will probably return as there are few vegan options available in Kamloops.

Awesome quaint stop - Edit
Cozy stop on our drive through the mountains, pretty much everything can be veganized, the hazelnut latte with soy is fantastic! And I had the hummus wrap without feta or the full sauce (had eggs) and the staff were very accommodating!
Read moreIt was super busy when we were there, but it started to quite down after about 2pm.

Awesome spot!! - Edit
Very cute and clean cafe/diner. Well marked vegan options. The server was super nice and there was a humane league business card taped the cash register. They now have almond and coconut milk for the oatmeal which was delicious. We got a couple of their veggie burgers to go. Will definitely be back!

WARNING - ALLERGIES - Edit
WARNING - Allergies
Read moreIf your child has any allergy to nuts, take them here at your own risk.
We sit down and as we order my cousin informs the waitress that he has a severe nut allergy(this doesn't just mean peanuts). We get our food, eat and he has a reaction. Now I understand when you eat out there is a potential risk for cross contamination, no one is perfect, but when I am writing about is the total lake of responsibility taken by the waitress or the manager. When the waitress was informed of the situation, she said "The kitchen staff is pretty good about this stuff"...basically went about her business as if it didn't really matter. I later go into the restaurant to speak to the manager to inform her of the situation and she replied with the same "Oh, we don't have peanuts here", basically just trying to be as distant from the situation as possible. The apparent lack of care for someone who had an allergic reaction that could have been life threatening if we had been farther away from a hospital was appalling.
Final note, at the hospital, the nurse informed us that they see numerous patients coming from Hello Toast that have had allergic reactions.
I won't be returning.

good but careful ordering - Edit
There are clear vegetarian options. They do have vegan options. The breakfast cereal is good. Ensure they bring soy or almond milk instead of dairy. It's a hectic busy place and the staff are run off their feet so mistakes are bound to happen. I'd rather go to a calmer vegan place but it's a good Kamloops option

best salad ever - Edit
They are only open till 3 so I don't have many chances to eat here but everything I do I get this amazing salad. It has roasted veggies and homemade hummus. They also have this fruit rice bowl which is yummy and a really tasty vegan burger (it falls apart tho - need better binder). Be careful if u ask for the side salad with your vegan burger tho because the dressing they automatically put with it doesn't seem to be vegan
