Not many Vegan options

Minimal vegan options, only fruit sorbets available.

Pros: Location on the beach

Cons: Only 2 fruit sorbets available as vegan

Various flavours of vegan ice-cream

This is the number one ice cream franchise of Gran Canaria who fortunately stocks various flavours of vegan ice-cream. Both made with plant based milk and with water (sorbet). They have among others chocolate flavored, coffee flavored, alongside the islands traditional "gofio" many of which also are sugar free.
This particular parlor is located across from the local beach and share the space with a small "Spar Express" - supermarket. They have a few tables and one children's chair.
They also serve both milkshakes and coffee with options of plant based milk. Lately unfortunately they have been out of plant based milk which I find quite annoying.
I love the Nespresso coffee they serve but it seems the staff is always changing and they are always teaching someone new how to work the machine. The place is very crowded on weekends and holidays.

great vegan ice cream

This gelateria is located in the entrance od a spar supermarket directly at in front of the beach. They offer a great variety of vegan ice creams. They are clearly marked with a green "vegano" or a brown "made with vegetable drink" sign. Some of them are also marked as "sugar free". You can get flavours like pistachio, hazelnut, bacio (chocolate with nuts), dark chocolate, chocolate, coffee, lemon, strawberry, wild berries... The flavours are changing. I can totally recommend the creamy non fruit ice creams because they taste delicious! The fruit ones are also very good but I think they aren't as special as the creamy ones are. They offer vegan and non vegan cones so ask to be sure to get the vegan one. Stuff is very friendly and english speaking.

Pros: clearly labeled vegan options , not only fruit sorbets , vegan cones available
