Upscale with Flavor - Edit
My husband and I went here for our 1st Wedding Anniversary dinner. We were drawn to it because it has both a robust Vegan and "Normal" Menu. From the Vegan menu, I ordered the Assorted Vegetarian Appetizers, Steamed Vegetable Dumplings, and Sichuan Style Mapo Tofu. Take it from me, DO NOT ORDER THE APPETIZER. It was a teeny tiny helping of pickled cabbage, baby pickles, and something else. NOT worth the $25USD price tag!!! The Dumplings were in a really thick, slimy casing with a few veggies inside. It wasn't personally my cup of tea. The Tofu dish was great--but spicy. I ended up ordering some steamed rice to knock down the intensity. (I am not good with any spice. My husband thought it was mild.) For dessert they treated us to a little fruit platter in celebration of our special occasion. They even took a photo of us with the desert and printed out the photo for us to take home as a keepsake! How thoughtful. My husband got some sort of meat plate and said it was one of the best meals he'd ever consumed.
