AVOID - the chef and workers don't even know what vegan means - Edit
Disgusting lack of knowledge and care about what they are even serving.
Read moreOrdered chilli con carne tacos and they came out with what looked like vegan cheese, this is not mentioned in the menu, so I asked the server to confirm it was vegan cheese, and got my partner to taste it. It was confirmed as vegan cheese.
Ordered another chilli con carne, and jackfruit taco.
These came out with COMPLETELY different looking cheese, yellow and thicker shreds than the first white thinner shreds. It looked like dairy cheese (as it was a little melty), and I asked my partner to taste it, was confirmed as dairy cheese.
Told staff, who took the plate away, and said the chef said it's vegan. I said but it looks completely different to the first tacos and showed her the picture. She made up some crap about the first tacos having ricotta cheese on it!
They don't even know what vegan means, and will just make up any lies!
They came back again and asked to take a picture of my picture of the original tacos. They have no idea what the heck they're even serving but will double down on their lies.
Incidentally the first tacos didn't even have vegan aioli, or pico de gallo on it as per the menu. This place is a complete joke.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Noone there knows what vegan is, They double down on their lies even when caught, Will feed you lies not vegan food

And friends and family wonder why I prefer going to vegan places.

Yeah you really can't trust non-vegan places. I miss Don Taco.

I much prefer Village Cantina! You should try if you haven’t, they’re much more vegan friendly

Tasty and fun - Edit
Great restaurant for a mixed crowd. It has a vibe, with low lighting and covered courtyard area.
Read moreThe menu has a section with vegan items clearly marked. Attentive service helps to make this a great experience. Great location near 'the village'.
Nachos were great - and it didn't feel like anything was missing(as with many vegan nachos where they just take things away to make it vegan). I had the beans one, but will definitely be back to try the jackfruit ones. The corn was also beautiful.
I'd consider this as a great option for groups, or a pre/post movie spot.

Amazingly tasty and plentiful - Edit
My son and I enjoyed generous portions of the vegan fajitas and nachos. The chef honoured my request for less oil on the fajitas and the dishes were prepared with a wide variety of ingredients. We couldn't be happier and will be back. Friendly service 🙂
