Menu much smaller now - Edit
I was gutted to find out they don’t do the vegan breakie anymore! In fact, they open much later now and have a much smaller menu. For lunch, we had the avocado and salad sandwich, which was lovely, and the chips were nice too.

Hamburguesa brutal! - Edit

Lots of vegan options - Edit
One of the few restaurants open past 8pm that offer vegan food. The first time I went there I ordered a vegan tomato and cheese sandwich. My order literally just pesto sauce tomato and vegan cheese. I had thought it was a burger but It was my fault because it says sandwich on the menu. The staff was so sweet tho and brought out a veggie patty for me. They also have a vegan breakfast thats a really good portion and tastes really good😄

After trying several other places, this one is our absolute favorite! Take the vegan taco, you won’t regret it! And for very cheap price 😃

Vegan in chiange rai - Edit
Nice burger and friendly service. Could do with a few more chips though and vegan mayo. A little expensive for a burger in Thailand I thought.

A good variety for a very rural town - Edit
I got the fried tofu burger with fries for 149B. For the price, and area, it was a very good vegan meal. Chips were great and always want for more. The burger was served a bit towering but removing the skewer really squashed it down to it's true size.

We all left as Happy Cows from Heaven - Edit
Jalapeno, cheese plant burger was amazing. I did not realise it would be a DOUBLE burger (what a fantastic surprise), but it was DOUBLE the deliciousness. The bun was also a pillow of charcoal carrying deliciousness. Chips with sircarcha mayo was beautiful. Great beer selection. Everyone was happy, we all left as happy cows.

welcome change - Edit
Ate here on our last evening in Chiang Rai with my omni brothers. I was at the point in our trip where I was really craving a change from Thai food and Heaven Burger provided!
Read moreMake sure you grab the separate veggie menu card. I got the vegan tacos - a good balance of fresh veggies with hearty mock mince and beans in soft tortillas. We shared some of their fat, crispy, beer-battered style chips. Both recommend and would definitely have tried a burger or hotdog if we'd stayed longer.
Probably some of the best food we ate in Chiang Rai, honestly. The location is really convenient, right near the clock tower, but the interior is pretty lackluster.

Kept Me Coming Back - Edit
In a word--"Reliable" from the V/Vg menu in English to the delicious burgers and crispy fries. Good assortment for vegetarians from special menu and regular menu. I liked the bean burger which I had two of the three times I was there. The salads looked amazing, too. Only disappointment was they had no vegan cheese two of the three times I was there. Not that hard to get as I've been buying in a local grocery store, Tops.

Hit and miss - Edit
We went here twice. The first time we went in the evening and got a burger and a sandwich. It took a long time for the food to arrive. The burger with the battered mushrooms was pretty good but I wasn’t a fan of the sandwich which was in a coconut flavoured bun with slimy mushrooms. We returned for brunch and got the vegan breakfast. It’s an unusual ensemble of food items which would have been good except for the stone cold beans that had clearly never been warmed up and were touching everything else on the plate #Veganuary

Appreciate the fact that they gave a separate vegan/vegetarian menu card. I opted for the vegan coconut bun for my burger and they were very sweet to provide vegan mayo upon request. Huge burger! Massively filling. #Veganuary

The most reliable place in Chiang Rai - Edit
This restaurant has a separate, and quite extensive vegan menu. The staff also understand veganism, so if you order from it, they'll ask you if you're vegan or vegetarian.
Read moreIt's also one of the places in Chiang Rai that was consistently open at the times they say they are. Other restaurants seem to close at times they claim to be open. This place wasn't like that. It was always open when it was supposed to be, so became my go-to place when I needed food in the evening (I ate here six times during my two weeks in Chiang Rai).
As for the food itself, I thought it was really good. It's very fairly priced. Nothing on the vegan menu costs more than 179 baht, and everything I ate was really good quality.
I particularly recommend the vegan breakfast plate, which is seemingly a mish-mash of unrelated things (mango on the same plate as baked beans), but it really works.
Pros: Reliable, Separate vegan menu, Staff understand what vegan means

Honestly the worst burger of my life - Edit
Not sure you can call it a burger? It was more like a mash potato cake smooshed together with bits of veg thrown in. Didn’t have any flavour. Put in a bun with a bit of lettuce.

Cons: The burger sucked , It smells like greasy beef burgers too

I loved the options available, plenty for vegan and vegetarians to choose from. I opted for the bean burger with an onion bun, which came with thick fries and guacamole. Very tasty and filling and for a great price: we had two meals and a Fanta for £7.
