Great garden for a wine and a snack

Nice garden to relax and chat over a glass of wine. Good customer service. We had bread and dip, fries and wine. All tasty. Pricey bottles of wine but still works out cheaper to buy a $30 bottle then the usual pay by the glass.

Make sure to quadruple check it’s vegan and even then, check again.

Very poor experience. My sister called to reserve a table and asked if vegan options available? They said yes, items on the menu could be made vegan.
I checked again upon arrival. Again, yes, no worries.
Ordered the polenta chips that came with serve of aioli on side, again specifying required their vegan option.
When plate arrived with over-fried looking polenta chips (there were 6 chips in total), I asked the person bringing the food if the sauce was definitely vegan. They looked unsure and said they would check. They came back and advised that it wasn’t and would I like some tomato sauce instead. Throughout all this I was completely polite and good natured.
When a different person brought out the tomato sauce, they looked at me like I was the most difficult customer in the world, put the sauce on the table and walked away, without saying a word.
The polenta chips tasted like they’d been fried twice and were very bland.

Pros: Dog friendly courtyard

Cons: No idea how to cater for vegans , Food is underwhelming , Service was poor
