Filling and fabulous! - Edit
I was a bit skeptical of raw main dishes, but this place changed my mind. We had pizza bites, collard wrap, southwest burritos and almond butter pie. All excellent. (Special shout out to the burrito and the pie.)

First experience with raw vegan dining and loved by all, omnivore included. The waitstaff and chef were as amazing as the meals. Picture worthy, but too busy eating. Worth the 1.5 hour drive!

Worth a Return Visit in Less Than a Week - Edit
The Healthy Sins Vegan Cafe in Lockport, IL was SO GOOD, we made a return trip in less than a week. Traveling and finding restaurants on the road presents many challenges for me because I am not just following a vegan lifestyle, I am healing cancer and eat organic, non-GMO, at least two raw meals each day, and don't eat "fake" vegan processed foods, sugar, or processed flour. It can be tough to enjoy eating away from home.
Read moreThe Healthy Sins Vegan Cafe covered all the bases AND the food was delicious. We stopped on a whim on the way up to Michigan and it was so amazing, we stopped on the way back home to St. Louis.
The first trip we were a little cautious - ordering lunch portions just to try it. My husband had the Cheesesteak with a side of fruit and I had the lasagna with a side salad. WOW! It was so delicious that on the way back, we sampled several new full portion dishes (nachos, pizza, burger). My husband is not as strict and indulged with the Almond Butter Pie; he said it was scrumptious! My only regret is that we don't live nearby, or eating here would be a weekly treat.
The food was fresh, filling, and unique. I have been vegan for 7 years and eaten at vegan restaurants around the country. The Healthy Sins Vegan Cafe is among my top three choices and there was no worry, just pure relaxation, because everything is organic, fresh, and gluten free. We will be stopping in again in early fall!

High Quality - Edit
Happy Cow didn't specify this was a 100% Raw Vegan place, so it was definitely different from what I expected, but everything was delicious and the meal definitely filled us up, despite being Raw. I got the "Pad Thai" and we both shared a plate of nachos as an appetizer. I also highly recommend trying their assortment of hot tea. Raw isn't really my thing, so I don't think we'll add this to our vegan restaurant rotation, but the ingredients were obviously fresh and I would go again during the summer- maybe just not the winter!

Raw Vegan Food - Edit
We went to Healthy Sins and got the nacho appetizer and some tea to start off. I got a Philly cheese steak which came with a salad and a fruit medley. My fiancee got the pad Thai which used zucchini noodles which also came with salad and fruit. Everything was delicious. I asked some questions about how they made the food and the server was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Loved by the whole family - Edit
My family is not often keen on vegan and gluten-free food, and were very skeptical about raw food, but my family GORGED at this restaurant. The meals were hearty, despite being raw and not containing legumes, which is a common vegan protein. The desserts and chips+guacomole were particular favorites. This restaurant is an exception gem is Lockport.

Yummy - Edit
I love great raw, vegan food & they didn't disappoint. I found this hidden gem using the Happy Cow app. Read the reviews & decided to try it out. They had me at nachos with almond "Taco meat"❤ I also tried the Thai pizza, salad, & a bite sized brownie. Delicious 😋

Incredible food! - Edit
Although I thought I wasn’t so fond of raw vegan, this place is awesome! Cucumber slices with all sorts of cheeses and meats. Yummy! My taco salad and bf’s burrito were amazing too. And the desert was incredible. Sort of pudding pie with chocolate. One of the best vegan desserts we ever had. Plus everything made and served with so much love: should go here more often, although it’s a 1 hr drive

Amazing raw vegan food - Edit
So glad we made the trip from Valpo to Lockport to try Healthy Sins Vegan Cafe. So impressed with the creativity and flavors put into the menu. Tried the nachos and garlic Parmesan bites or appetizers, both great but the nachos were amazing. I had the cheesesteak sandwich and it had so much flavor. Was blown away with the salad dressings too, ranch, smoked bacon and garlic ginger. The serving sizes are vey generous. Can’t wait to go back and try even more!

Pretty nice for a vegan place! - Edit
It’s all raw of course. But it does taste pretty amazing! I had their almond butter pie which is amazing but for a whole pie it over $100! I had their daily cheese cake too (which was mango) and it was delicious. But quite pricey for what you get which is why I don’t go very often.

Unique Experience - Edit
First time eating raw vegan and the flavors were delicious, though the food was a little pricey overall. The entree names don't seem to represent the actual food very well. My mom got the mac and cheese and I got the cheesesteak. Both were good but not what we were expecting based on the titles. The nachos were AMAZING. Cute little hidden gem in Lockport.

I’m so grateful to have this place! - Edit
I don’t even know where to start with how amazing this place is! I’ve been a customer since 2015 and this place has done more for me than simply providing a delicious dining experience but they’ve been there for me to provide me with nourishing raw foods to help me heal when I’ve struggled with my health. Do not skip their almond butter pie! It’s unbelievable! ❤️

First time - Edit
Great food and customer service for carry out during partial lockdown for covid19. First time eating all raw. Delicious but some too salty for our taste especially the Thai pizza. Maybe it was on accident. Favorites were the nachos and turtles. Will be back again!

First Raw food experience - Edit
Very nice little restaurant in Chicago suburbs. I was surprised it was not only Vegan, but Raw food only. While I generally prefer my lasagna warm this was delicious. In fact everything I tried (except my wife's Jicama Fries- sorry those need to be warm or at least less crunchy) was delicious.
