No Vegan Bread - Edit
I love the lush interior of Haveli for special occasions like birthdays and the holidays. Their menu is full of wonderful dish descriptions that make you want to order one of everything. However none of their bread options, naan kulcha or roti, are available vegan and neither are their many desserts. There are call buttons on the table instead of the server coming around, this is the only restaurant I've been to in Reno/Sparks with that. There's also no cell reception or wifi available

Royal Indian Cuisine - Edit
The restaurant was simply designed for royalty. Lavish table settings everywhere and a stage to boot. I could see this place being designed for parties and celebrations. Each individual table also had a button where you'd press to alert the staff if you needed something.
Read moreWe started with two amazing apps - their Gobi Manchurian ($9) and their Golgappe ($8). The spicy cauliflower dish was huge and had tender chunks of veggies with their sweet, spicy sauce. It was definitely one of the best Gobi Manchurians I've had. Their puri dish was a fun little way to customize your meal with various chutneys, potatoes, and onions. Absolutely loved these two.
For our mains, we tried their Baingan Bharta ($9) which was a large bowl of fire-roasted eggplant with spices that really delivered a punch. Accompanying this as well as the Gobi Manchurian were their potato and cauliflower parathas, one of my favorite kinds of whole wheat flatbreads to eat with my mains. Everything here was a constant rip, dip, and repeat. I really appreciated being able to try something new here.
Pros: Beautiful banquet setting, Large portions
