The best hummus and handmade pita in Los Angeles, maybe the world?

The hummus here is unreal, creamy, dreamy, I’ve NEVER had anything like this and I’m obsessed with hummus. I’ve had a lot of experience with hummus. Also they handmake their pita which is unreal. I’ve never had handmade pita before and now there is no going back for me: I’m spoilt. This place is a must try! The mint and lemonade is also so fab!

Pros: Unreal creamy hummus , Out of this world handmade pita , Delicious and totally worth it! A must!

The real deal!

We ordered a sabich sandwich, falafel sandwich, and shared a classic hummus with fresh pita. Can’t wait to come back here - super authentic!

Hummus!

Wow the hummus really is that good. Great spot on Pico. Indoor/sidewalk seating. Small but authentic menu. Pita sandwiches, hummus, stews, sides. This place searches eggs and yogurt so vegans stay alert. These are gluten-rich dishes.

Pros: Hummus, Pico location

Cons: Serves animal products (veg), Gluten-heavy

THE BEST!!

After an amazing service at Agape we were starving marvin. My fiancé and I are vegan and found this place on HappyCow. The owner DJ was there, gave us some samples, and told us about the menu. Everyone was super nice, good energy, and you could seriously taste the love in the food. This is the best mediterranean food I’ve ever had. So happy to have some leftovers and we’ll definitely be back again.

Delicious & kosher

The space is small though. Went there with a party of 6 and had trouble seating

Delicious hummus!

Lots of vegetarian goodies, and a few really good vegan goodies. I had their mushroom hummus with tahini sauce, it was SO much food, very filling, but I wish I'd gotten an extra pita with it. That thing is so fresh!

Pros: Creamiest/best hummus I've had in a while

Cons: Not super cheap, and a limited vegan selection.

Incredible Hummus

I never knew that hummus could be this incredible. A tad expensive for the amount of hummus that you get, but the hummus and fresh peta bread make for a fantastic mean. The hummus is creamy and packs a punch of flavor.

Pros: perfect hummus

Cons: bit expensive

Some of the best food in LA!

This place by the owners of lodge bread is seriously incredible. All vegan aside from egg in some dishes. They have taken a “simple” dish like hummus and blown it out of the water, you will have never had anything like it unless you’ve been to Israel. Seasonal and mindblowingly good. My favorite is the hummus ful without the egg 🥚 !!
