Delicious Sunday lunch - Edit
The lentil wellington option for the carvery was delicious and there were only two items on the self serve side dishes that I couldn't eat. Lovely tomato and roast pepper soup for starter There was also a non roast option for main but I was so caught up with my roast dinner I can't remember what it was! Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Recommended.....

Really lovely venue and food - Edit
This place is in a lovely setting. We went to the hotel/lakeside restaurant for the Sunday carvery (it's usually held in the tithe barn) and there were two starters (soup and one other involving houmous) and two mains (nut roast and mushroom tagliatelle). There were no vegan desserts on the menu but when asked they could do sorbets, ice cream and fruit salad with vegan cream. I had the nut roast and ice cream, which were reallllllly tasty. Highly recommended.

Amazing gem! - Edit
Although there is not a designated menu, there were several vegan options for starter, main and dessert upon request. Everything tasted soooo good, my favourite was the tomato soup (chef’s kiss).

Unexpectedly excellent - Edit
This place is an unexpected find. When dealing with my booking they made sure that there were ample vegan options for each course, all of which were excellent. They served soup, gnocchi and crumble and custard. All were excellent.

Fine dining vegan options - Edit
Romantic fine dining in a 17th century mill house in the heart of the British countryside with great vegan options.
Read moreThis restaurant serves meat and fish options but it had 4 vegan main courses which were so thoughtfully and skilfully prepared and among the best vegan meals I’ve ever eaten out that it merits mention. It’s also hard to try to make a fully vegan restaurant operable in a village in the English countryside so I respected their evident interest in making 60% of the menu vegan or vegetarian and having really thoughtful vegan menu. Really friendly polite staff and proper vegan dessert, no rubbish fruit salad or sorbet.
