Good, but get there early!

Amazing bakes but things will sell out so get there early! I'd had the cheese croissant before, but arrived at 10am and they'd already sold out! Instead, I had a savoury bun. My husband had an almond croissant. All delicious!

Tasty pastries

Had the mushroom sausage roll, cheddar croissant, and a tahini flapjack. All fresh and tasty. Ordering online for collection was a pleasant surprise for what appears to be a small independent outlet. Items were all nicely wrapped individually. Pity you can't order drinks on the site, this makes hitting the £10 minimum a little difficult.

Please note this place is closed Mondays, was a little disappointed that I had to go to the next nearest place, Sandwi- which was dreadful.

Pros: Lovely food, Convenient location, once you've found it, Collection was quick

Cons: No drinks available on the website, Takeaway price a little steep, A4 collection label wasteful. You could use a pen.

3.75/5 – Delicious mushroom sausage roll!

This bakery is in a great location a two minute walk from Bristol Temple Meads station so if you're getting a train it's ideal. It's in a railway arch with a nice airy space and seating for around 15 people. The vegan selection was decent with a couple of sweet options and a few savoury. I would've liked to see more vegan options and if they did I would've given them a 4* rating (I only give five stars to fully vegan places) as the food was really good. The staff were also really friendly and when I asked about vegan options the lady serving me was enthusiastic and warm. I ordered two mushroom, pearl barley and rye vegan sausage rolls and they were really delicious! The texture was good, they were well cooked and they had a really lovely rich flavour. My only criticism would be that they were lukewarm rather than hot but that didn't affect my enjoyment personally.

Pros: Interesting vegan options, Delicious mushroom sausage roll, Warm staff

Cons: Limited vegan range, Sausage rolls were lukewarm

The lunch runs out fast

Make sure you get there early, their pastries are always top notch and I'm a huge fan of the vegan sausage roll. It may be a bit spenny, but it's all worth it!
