I ordered the impossible burger on 8/25. The menu states that it's not vegan but I ordered the %100 plant based burger without cheese, without Chipotle aioli, and substituted the brioche bun with a regular bun; specifying that I was vegan. I then ordered on 8/28 the same way, again specifying that I was vegan. This time I was informed that it was made with an egg base. The menu clearly states that their "impossible" burger is 100% plant based. I understand having to substitute or remove toppings to make something vegan but under no circumstances should something be called 100% plant based if it's made with an egg base. I wonder how many vegans ate this burger without knowing that it contains egg.
