No food anymore due to Covid - Edit
I just talked to the owner and they stopped offering the vegan brunch and other food options during the covid lockdown times. They recommended us another café in the vicinity.

No more pancakes! - Edit
It is a bar, with limited food options.
Read moreWe wanted to taste the pancakes others posted about but they are not offering breakfast anymore. We had a nice sourdough bread instead with fresh spreads namely pesto and mushroom spread. It was tasty and we were just glad to get something to eat after our cycle tour to get here.
The location is cosy and had candles burning on all the tables eventhough it was 10am. The cafe was empty except one friend of the bartender that was seated at the bar.
Staff was friendly, explained that the spreads are homemade and all cakes are vegan.

Great vegan pancakes! - Edit
Drove there with the hope of sitting down and getting some work done while I enjoy brunch. However the lighting was disappointing, not a cozy cafe to work in. It’s dimly lit, even darker on a cold and rainy Fall Copenhagen day. So I ordered pancakes only which were good. So if you like bright cafes, don’t expect that from here.

Cosy atmosphere - Edit
A small cosy pub with vegetarian food. The food was okay but not amazing. If i would go there again it would be more for the cosy atmosphere/bar and not for the food.

Best vegan croissant and pancakes - Edit
I highly recommend their vegan croissant! Delicious Pancakes come with 3 tasty dips of which one is a interesting homemade sirup tasting like coffee. Also great: vegan kakao. Who loves tofu will be happy with the scrambled tofu with awesome marinated carrots, it's tasty but a such a huge portion that I was full for the rest of the day.

Best and generous vegan brunch plate in town! - Edit
I had a brunch at Harbo Bar and found the food very exciting. I took the vegan brunch plate that consisted of dips, pancakes, vegetables, fruits, granola and tofu. Everything was very tasty, including the salad. Portions were generous: I was hungry and though found it difficult to finish the plate. The place has good vibes (with good music!) and the staff is young and friendly. I would go back again with no doubts.

Harbo Lights - Edit
We visited here for a late breakfast and ordered the kartoffelmad (45kr) and rhubarb and syrup pancakes (55kr) with drinks. The kartoffelmad, which is potato, was served on classic smørrebrød with dressing and light salad and was absolutely delicious. The presentation of the dish was also beautiful. The rhubarb and syrup pancakes were perfect both in taste and texture but finishing the last bite left us a little sad, as they were sooo good! We liked this bar so much that we came back later that night. This was the best bar we visited in Copenhagen and drinks wise, they have a great selection of vegan ales and lager. I sampled all of the ales and they were all superb. On a night time Harbo bar just comes alive and is heaving with a lovely, friendly atmosphere. We stayed for a good few hours playing cards, whilst other tables were playing backgammon. This truly is a great bar to visit and there are also other cool bars and vegan food eateries in this area too.

Yum!! - Edit
Really nice vegan brunch! I went for the + pancakes option and it was really good. The mushroom spread, like others have mentioned, is very tasty. It also came with a bowl of kale salad. In Germany, kale is impossible to find this time of year, so my Canadian kale heart was very happy. The iced coffee(with oat milk) was also great. They also have some vegan desserts at the bar(the rum balls looked amazing).

Some of the best vegan pancakes ever! We came twice to eat here. The open face sandwich with hummus and greens was the best thing I had in all of Copenhagen!!

breakfast - Edit
We went here for the breakfast plate, with pancakes. It was great, the pancakes where delicious, the breads and spreads tasted good to. There was a yoghurt with fruits etc. included, and a salad came with it as well. The only item that was leftover was the salad, not that it wasn't good (it was a nice salad of kale and other stuff) but I'm not into salads in the morning. Staff was helfull. Furniture a bit worn down but that seems common in Blagards.

Fantastic mushroom spread and veg sandwich - Edit
Fantastic mushroom spread and veg sandwich which is very filling. Bread was made in house. They have a menu which most food can be veganised. cheese and eggs are not main ingredients and can be separated.
Read moreI also had a great cupcake with coconut soya cream frosting and a choc banana bread.
The place functions mainly as a bar but has wonderful food. I would indeed recommend.
Price is moderate.

Best brunch I've had - Edit
The brunch I had was hands down the best brunch I've had in my years of eating vegan. They had two different options - one vegetarian and one vegan. My sister, who had the regular vegetarian one, was also impressed. With the freshness and great presentation, she said, she didn't even think about that there wasn't any meat.

Good vegan Brunch - Edit
My friend and I arrived to the Cafe around 10-11 o'clock and therefore we chose their vegan brunch dishes and ginger-mint tea. It was really good and we became totally full. Price was ok for Copenhagen. A vegan brunch dish costs 125 Danish kroner and ginger-mint tea kost 30 kroner.

dinner sandwiches - not bad - Edit
I got there around 6:30 pm expecting to buy some dinner. They only had the veg sandwiches (some with vegan cheese, some with animal cheese) seating on the counter and some vegan cupcakes.
Read moreI had two sandwiches to go. Not bad, not great, pretty oily. The lady at the counter was very nice and friendly and she knew exactly what was vegan. I'd say that if you go in the evening, go for the drinks, not the food.

Delicious vegan brunch - Edit
Harbo Bar is a cosy, unpretentious cafe/bar in Blaagardsgade, in the neigbourhood of Noerrebro. Serves good beer, tea and coffee, delious vegan brunch with a choice of pancakes/fries/baked polenta and fabulous vegan cakes. A nice place where people hang out inside and outside all day and in the evening all year round.
