Nice local place - Edit
I've been running down the list of veggie places in Thau Dien and this is the first place that isn't trying to be fancy.
Read moreThe food of reasonably priced and fairly good. They have a good sized menu. I'll be eating my way through I assume.
If you are looking for some local food or a regular place to get cheap eats. This is the place to go.

there's a no-frills family restaurant with very affordable pricing across the street and a few doors down from Rawberry, called Chay Thiện Tâm :)

Fresh and Locally Sourced Ingredients: - Edit
The commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients is evident in every dish. The emphasis on quality enhances the overall dining experience, and it's reassuring to know that the restaurant supports local farmers and producers.

Great local vegan - Edit
Lovely food. Cheap. Friendly service. It could do with a lick of paint and a good scrub.

Great northern style restaurant - Edit
This is my favorite in Thao Dien and top 5 in the city because its unique. You can find dishes here that are not the same as are served in every other chay place. Alot of it is northern Vietnam style and they have sticky red rice which is rare! The "mommy cook" combos are the best.

Eating together with Mosquitos - Edit
This place is an average vietnamese Vegan restaurant. The food is ok, some of it is meh, some are really delicious.
Read moreThere are like 20 or more small plants in small glass bottles that are filled with water, which is a breeding ground for Mosquitos. And when recommended her it would be better not to have that, she just meant she exchange the water everyday. I saw at least one larve, which hatch from the egg within 48 hours.
Either she lied, or the egg somehow was able to stay there despite the water change. My friends sister got bitten by a mosquito since there were at least 2 flying around.
Yup, you have the honor to donate your blood to those little suckers, and in exchange you receive some lovely itchy spots, and if you are lucky enough you get also some diseas in this lottery exchange.
The food itself seemed not all fresh, but was still ok and enjoyable.
