Small & sweet restaurant in the hood that I happened upon. Since I’m gluten-free and low to no oil, I ordered the falafel with hummus app and a vegan main of chickpeas over rice w/the shepherd salad w/vinegar. Support this little gem!

First time trying Cig Kofte in cliffside park.I realized I was missing out on something special. Happy that this place opened up closer to me. If you have never tried it you must! I get it in pieces, so I can wrap them in the lettuce. The pomegranate syrup is fantastic. I have had many of the other stuff too. All super good. Never been let down when trying a new item.

This place is a hideaway gem. All homemade, authentic Turkish food, surprisingly lower prices, DELICIOUS! I had the Kofteh wrap and it was phenomenal, with my choice of fixings: pickle, hot pepper, red onions, parsley, lettuce, tomato. And they have vegan baklava need I say more! Quick friendly service. High quality all around. Casual style.

Definitely a place to return to. The environment is very clean and friendly. The food is very spectacular. I had ordered the kofteh wrap, seasoned fries, turkish juice, and baklava. The kofteh was delicious. My family, who isn't vegan, came with me and could enjoy the food as well.

This was my first time trying Turkish food, and it was delicious. Well, I think it’s Turkish food. That’s what Google said 😁My husband got the Kofteh Wrap and I got the Happy Vegan Burger. We shared a mango smoothie and a Shepherds Salad. Everything was very filling and yummy.

Come and support this little gem in Clifton, NJ! The food has a very homemade feel and tastes delicious. The ambient is clean and very pleasant. Apparently the new owner just acquired this four months ago, and he is so sweet and welcoming. If we were locals, we’d be here all the time. Can only recommend!

The restaurant has many Turkish vegan food that is made with great taste. The owners are very warm people and all the food, equipment and restaurant itself is very clean. If you want to try Turkish food that is very well veganized, you should definitely try this place. They also offer some food that is by default vegan, specifically the Turkish çiğ köfte, its taste is really beyond delicious.

We were grateful to find this restaurant on our way home while on vacation.  I love Turkish food, but there were some items on the menu that were new to me. The staff was so friendly and helpful, as they helped explain those menu items.  Everything we ordered was so good, and it came out quickly.  It’s a cute restaurant. We would definitely come back.  I love Turkish food, but there were some items on the menu that were new to me.

Happy Vegans Owner and the management changed about 3 months ago. The old baklava was from a mass production. As soon as we got the information that the place produce it changed the oil because of low demand of Vegan baklava. We informed and warned our customers. Our new baklava is homemade, specially baked just for Happy Vegans. We provide the Vegan butter ourselves. All foods in the Restaurant is 100 % Vegan and Soy Free. We have a new menu now. We are also working on the menu to provide more options in the future. We always appreciate your opinion and advice.. Thank you.. 💐

This place was wonderful! I was immediately offered a sample of their new lomka desserts. I ordered the kofteh wrap, roller borek and baklava. They were out of the rollers so I instead got the onion bhajis and they included a few happy rollers for free… so sweet. The food was all delicious and the service was great. I will be coming back!!

Happy Vegans has new management now. The place producing vegan baklava changed the ingredients. And we informed our customers as soon as possible. Except baklava everything was %100 vegan even though on Instagram it says vegetarian/vegan restaurant. . We are trying to find new place for vegan baklava. Until that time, we don't sell baklava anymore. We also brought new vegan desert, lokma. Our regular customers know our honesty and well-intention very well. We are sorry for any kind of inconvenience... We need to survive to help each other and the community , thank you for understanding...

I had Gyro over rice. On the menu it states that it has (lentils mushrooms, ect) - Edit
It was very plain. Nothing but rice sub-meat and the tziki sauce. Nothing else. The gyro sub-meat was hard and extremely dry over cooked i guess. Will not be visiting here no no time soon.
