A simple sandwich shop. - Edit
When I came in the door, I felt like I was being welcomed into someone's house. I ordered a veggie sandwich on whole wheat bread, and it was pretty good. The sandwiches and wraps cost $10 , which seemed little overpriced but the sandwich had very fresh ingredients. If you're in the neighborhood, it's a great plant based option.

Menu selection: A wider selection of smoothies, protein for sandwiches such as tofu and such.

I would give this place zero stars - Edit
Went to this place for the first time and was ignored and decided to walk out. It’s super small with limited options. Panda Express and subway are directly across the street , I’d just go there if in the area.

Not worth the trip - Edit
So I biked about 2.5 miles off the path to come here, thinking a vegan deli would be a perfect lunch when I was starving. The only option was essentially a cabbage salad on bread! They have no vegan cheese, no fake meat. It's just vegetables on bread - that is the vegan option. I've been vegan since 1999 and this meal tasted so much like early years of being vegan where the options were so few and far between and I had to improvise in order to eat anything out. The smoothie was not any good either, the pieces of ice were huge and got stuck in the dissolving paper straw. Will definitely not be back.

Delicious - Edit
It was really good with nice options. Would’ve given it more starts if the service was faster. I was the only client and it took then a while to acknowledge me, then once I put in my order it took a while to get my food. Seemed like there was some general preparations going on before starting on my food. But I really enjoyed my food. If/when I go back, I’ll either edit or submit a new review since this was my first time there.

Worth Every Second - Edit
Looked within app to find the nearest Vegetarian style store and Happy Life Organic Veggie Deli was the closest. There was one lady working and I had a written menu to provide her. Once she began working my sandwich it took a little time and I was encouraged to wait with the ambiance of the store. I looked around and it took some time for to complete sandwich to be made. Finally, receiving sandwich and tasting it. The sandwich was completely fresh and I felt the love and energy that was put within. I totally enjoyed the sandwich and look forward to coming back to this small vegetarian spot. Every second of waiting was worth every bite.

A Hidden Gem - Edit
A Fresh deli juice kitchen inside a water store with made to order sandwiches, wraps, juices, smoothies and fruit bowls. All ingredients were very fresh. Had the multi green smoothie and that was delicious too. And while you're there, you can pick up some alkalized water.

Hard to find but worth it - Edit
To locate this very small, take-out only vegetarian deli, look for the "Water Store" sign in this small, strip-mall shopping center on the southeast corner of Oxford and Broadway.
Read moreUse the small checklist to build your order. I had a vegan veggie wrap and it was very good. Lots of fresh greens as I prefer.
No other veggie deli's in area, so greatly appreciate this one. (Happy Cow sticker on shop window).
Pros: fresh ingredients, friendly staff, only veggie deli in neighborhood
