Mansfield-area eatery offers vegan options - Edit
This place was amazing, especially because it had extensive vegan offerings in the area where it is hard to find. We had fried rice with tofu added, and Kung, pow chicken with tofu substituted for the chicken. The portions were huge. We couldn’t even eat half of the portions. The tofu was prepared to be chewy overall and crispy on the outside. Everything was delicious.
Read moreAs for the place itself, it emphasizes carry out, even though it has plenty of seats and tables. On a Sunday night, we were the only people eating in, and were observing the steady stream of carry out order pick ups. Although we ordered our food to eat in the restaurant, the restaurant service itself was minimal, and amounted to our food being brought out on disposable plates by an employee. After that, there was no follow-up service. Essentially, we got our cutlery and our beverage, and then we cleared up after ourselves. No complaints: it’s just a sign of the times.
NOTE: this restaurant is located south of Mansfield, Ohio. Glad to be able to eat well-prepared vegan options in a remote, small town area of Ohio.
