Quality vegan Chinese - Edit
In Wolverhampton it’s a bit of a chore to find great vegan Chinese food. Good job Happy Garden is here with lots of variety to satisfy.
Read moreLarge menu of 200 items (typically numbered). The vegetarian section (which is also vegan but not labelled as such) is actually quite small, just 6 dishes but this is because they can take their tofu, mock chicken, duck and fish and put them into most dishes on the menu. Want a Kung Po mock chicken? Check. How about a mock duck with bamboo shoots? You get the picture. The couple of times I’ve ordered from here, food is always promptly cooked and of great quality.
Staff are friendly and knowledgable about what can/can’t be made vegan (watch out/double check for honey and egg in particular). Cash only is a bit of a downer in 2019 but a cash machine isn’t too far away.
