Op aanraden van een collega hebben wij hier gisteravond gegeten. Ik kan niets anders zeggen dan dat het heerlijk was. En wat ziet dit restaurant er sfeervol uit met al die verlichtingen en planten, love it! Ik had de köfte schotel en mijn man de mix grill. Je proeft dat het allemaal vers is bereid. We hebben er echt van genoten. Hier gaan wij zeker vaker komen. En het is allemaal halal😁

This is way too expensive for the quality of the food. I had the pita bread and could hardly eat it, is was hard like stone. The veggies were very oily and the whole meal uninspired.

My favorite vegan place in Rotterdam - Edit
Without a doubt my favorite vegan place in Rotterdam!! The food is absolutely delicious, the interior looks great and the staff is super friendly. When I was there, they were still constructing an extra kitchen to host cooking workshops. It’s been a while, so it could be ready by now. Can’t wait to upgrade my cooking skills!!

There is no planet B. Amazing burger was literally amazing! Nachos the same , kofte the same and I do believe the rest of the menu has a lot of surprises, definitely worth it!

A lot of dishes and variations to choose from. I went with köfte plate and was very pleased. At first I thought it’s a weird combination to put rice next to french fries but in the end it was good. I was really surprised by the rice, the spices were so nice.
Read moreAlso - the staff was so friendly! The only cons are that the food is a bit pricey, also the wait time was about half an hour even tho the place was pretty empty but I personally did not mind it that much.

Voor mij zijn de vele positieve recensies een raadsel. Wij waren hier voor diner en het eten was oké. Qua smaak niet heel bijzonder en de porties vonden wij relatief klein. Dit was helemaal prima geweest als de prijzen 'normaal' waren, maar die vond ik echt veel te hoog. Denk aan rond de €30 voor nasi, saté of kebab. Wellicht is de lunchkaart beter.

Vanaf januari 2023 ga ik de veganuary challenge. Vandaag de eerste grote stap genomen als voorproefje. We zijn bij Happy Food and health geeindigd. Volgens mij bijna sluitingstijd toen we er kwamen. Onze spijt en schaamtw werd naar de achtergrond verschoven door de alsnog warme ontvangst en service.

Vegan café with cozy atmosphere, friendly service. Menu unfortunately more impressive than the actual food when served. We had to wait unusually long for a simple order (no comment from owner about delay!), to be disappointed with small portion and a somewhat bland taste for a Turkish dish..

Voor het eers in Rotterdam gaan eten als veganist, ik had hoge verwachtingen want in Den Bosch heb je vrij weinig opties. Rotterdam staat tenslotte bekend dat ze veel mer opties hebben :)
Read moreIk twijfelde een beetje om hier te gaan eten, want meestal vind ik vegan tentjes die wat gezondere dingen maken (aka geen junkfood) vrij smakeloos en saai qua gerechten. Ik ben blij dat mn zusje me heeft overtuigd hier te gaan eten, want het was echt mega lekker!
Je moest soms net ietsje langer wachten op de bediening, maar dat was niet zo erg want daarmee had je meer tijd om ruimte te mk voor extra eten - ik wilde niet stoppen! Bovendien was het personeel mega aardig en gezellig om een babbeltje mee te maken.
Uiteindelijk hebben we de lasagna en pizza gedeeld samen en achteraf de 24karat desert gegeten en nu moet ik 5 dagen vol voldoening uitbuiken :)
1000% een aanrader - ik ben jaloers op de Rotterdammers dat ze dit pareltje in hun stad hebben!

When we arrived at the restaurant we were very friendly greeted by the owner. Sadly we had to figure out that a big part of the menu were only available until 5pm so we could only choose from a very reduced and overly pricy menu. The food is good, homemade and healthy.
Read moreWe decided to pick different side dishes then and ended up with two tiny portions (potatoes and köfte) for each 10€ served minimum 15 minutes apart as well as a bigger portion of Nachos. At least the cheese sauce was delicious.
The seating is nice, they allowed a dog in a part of the restaurant but we would not come back in the evening because of the crazy prices.
Edit: we got following answer from the owner which explains the pricing:
„Hi miss and mister, our dear guests from Sunday evening. Ofcourse first of all thanks for coming to our place and taking the time for sending a feedback. I wanted to response first on here to sort things out. I hope you understand when we say that we are a lunchroom in the afternoon, a restaurant in the evening. Being a lunchroom in the evening is unfortunately not enough to keep this place running. You’re saying 2/3 of the card isn’t available in the evening. But we have a menu card of 32 pages. Half with ‘good’, half with pictures. So 16 pages of deliciousness. And just 3 pages aren’t available in the evening. Thought that’s reasonable. A burger for 17€ in the afternoon and 25€ in the evening isn’t correct. It’s 12,50 in the afternoon without chips/fries And 19,50 in the evening with chips/fries. The evening burger isn’t the same as in the afternoon. And also, the evening burger is 1,5x at least bigger then the afternoon burgers! That’s makes a quiet difference. Our dönmez plate isn’t 30€ , its €24,50. Also a big difference and also sounds much better then how you explain it. And even if all these prices are still a bit on the high end, it’s because everything is gluten free, home made and for more then 90% organic/biological. That has a price. For us and for our guests. But yes, there was a time between the two snacks you ordered. That’s on us. It was crowded and everybody came the same time and we did our best. Hopefully at least you get a little satisfying from all what I explained. We just hope you will give us a second change. Evening , afternoon, what’s best for you. Also, I ask you, we would be great full, if you removed this review. And wait for your second visit. The drinks are from us.“

Fantastisches veganes Essen und toller Service - Edit
Wir waren während unseres Urlaubes für einen Tag in Rotterdam und wie immer haben wir uns vorher nach einem guten veganem Restaurant auf Happy Cow erkundigt. Der Name Happy Food und die tollen Bewertungen haben uns zu Erol gebracht und was soll ich sagen, ES WAR FANTASTISCH!!!! Das Essen, der Wein, das Ambiente und der tolle Service wären 10000⭐️wert!!!! Und für die Scharf-Esser unter uns, bei Happy Food und Health ist es wirklich mega scharf wenn es auf der Karte steht!!!! Vielen Dank Erol für den leckeren brownie!!!!! Take care!!!

Surprisingly delicious - Edit
As a vegan and gluten-free eater my options are often limited to salads or fries with Ketschup in the most restaurants. But this is the place where I got perfectly happy. The food was delicious in any ways. Even my boyfriend, who loves to eat spicy and by spicy I mean really really spicy, got everything he wanted. So if you are Vegan, gluten free and/or would like to have some delicious spicy burgers, this is the place for you.
