I ordered everything to go so it may taste even better immediately fresh at the restaurant. The basil eggplant was really tasty, the basil flavor impressed me, I only ordered this dish because the woman taking my order recommended it and I’m glad she did. The mushroom chicken dish had good flavor. The sichuan wontons were spicier than I expected, nice flavor but I think it could be improved with bamboo shoots or something else in the filling to give it a better contrast of texture. I am a snob when it comes to hot and sour soup and most don’t measure up to my standards, their hot and sour soup was fine, to have it fit closer to my liking I would swap the button mushrooms for shiitake mushrooms, I enjoyed a spoonful of soup better after eating a spicy wonton, i might add a little bit of the sichuan sauce to kick it up a tiny notch, their hot and sour soup was a little sweet for my liking but still nicely tangy, maybe the choice of vinegar used makes it so, I liked the soup enough that I would order it again. The bok choy shiitake mushroom dish was rather plain in flavor but I love the flavor of shiitake and greens so it was a nice addition to the whole meal. Happy to have found this restaurant and I look forward to trying more of their delicious vegan dishes!

Authentic Chinese Dishes - Edit
I first visited this restaurant a few years ago on my way to the Gentle Barn. The dishes and taste are very authentic that I truly enjoyed it so much. They are so delicious that I always wanted to revisit. Recently I visited Cherry Valley and has the opportunity to revisit. I got a few of my favorite dishes and they didn't disappoint. The dishes I ordered were the green strong means, spicy tofu and cabbage, and the tofu skin rolls. Delish!!

The first two times I’ve had food from here was from my old boss. Her family is vegan/vegetarians so I knew she knew where the good food was hahah I’ve been here once to eat with a friend too. My husband and I recently ordered to go and once again, I am so happy. Their food is just amazing, I requested everything vegan and there were zero issues. Staff is also very kind and helpful.

Had lunch here on a Saturday and was impressed by the attentive service, fresh food, and curious flavors. We had the tofu/corn soup to start and for main dishes we enjoyed the eggplant tofu and house mock chicken. Both servings were plentiful. As sides we had steamed broccoli and brown rice. Reasonable at $31 USD not including tip. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Visiting from out of town and came in for dinner on a Monday night. Only a few tables filled and service was prompt and all food came out within 5-10 minutes tops. Following others’ previous reviews, I got the Kung Pao wheat gluten (chik’n) as part of a $11.95 dinner special. The special also included rice, a spring roll, and a side salad. Entree was delicious, and plenty of food for one. I ordered it spicy and it was “western” spicy, not Chinese spicy. But still good!

This place is delicious! I asked about the non-vegan options and the server said there’s only 2 dishes and its because they include egg. You’ll know which items they are because egg is in the title of the dish. I’ve been 3 times, they always seem a little short-staffed but the servers are extremely nice and accommodating.

This place is great if you love Chinese food. I love the house chicken, which is similar to orange chicken. The chowmein is delicious! They have a large selection on the menu and if you go early they have lunch specials. The waitress told me everything is vegan despite the name.

I want to start of by saying that the food was really tasty and the portions are very generous. With that said, I found out that it isn't all vegan. When I asked the waitress if it was 100% vegan she pointed out that a couple of items were not. She said that one contained eggs and another had mayonnaise. So if you are vegan or can't have dairy/eggs, please make sure you ask that your items are indeed vegan. I was under the impression that this was an all vegan restaurant, according to happy cow. Otherwise the food is pretty good.
