Nice Second Location

Similar to Happy Day’s other location, this cafe is bright and airy. The staff are friendly. The protein shake was good. Their is indoor and outdoor seating.

Yummy

We had a smoothie, smoothie bowl, avocado toast, and a waffle. All delicious
(although the toast was on the smaller side).

Smoothies and Avocado Toast!

Well balanced, cooling smoothies and exceptional avocado toasts. Generous portions of seasoned avocado and micro greens (including Tatsoi). I recommended adding the extra $ cashew cream cheese (from Cultured Kindness) to make the experience deluxe. Well done. It’s a quiet space, not really conducive to dining in… however there are nice tables outside.

Sad Day

I wanted to order the Fremont Fix Acai Bowl, but they were out of blueberries and strawberries, so I ordered The Pearl Acai Bowl, which includes an acai blend topped with fresh banana, organic cacao nibs, house-made granola, coconut drizzled with almond butter, and real maple syrup. I ordered "for here," so when I saw the employee using a plastic container, I reminded them I was eating in. They said it would still be made to go, so I asked why I couldn't have it in one of the bowls on the shelf behind them. They said they were the wrong size, but they looked fine to me. They did give us reusable spoons, but I was still disappointed by the waste, especially after I had already noticed the acai came from individual packets.

Note: There are many stools inside, but oddly, no tables.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: ingredients out of stock, plastic containers, no tables inside
