Small shop modestly furnished and offers Asian dishes. Mostly vegan apart from one dish containing butter. Shop is set back from the road and is easily missed and is not well-known by taxi drivers. Kitchen breaks in the late afternoon. Directions: from Jl Legian and Jl Pantai Kuta intersection, follow signs to Denpasar, or ask locals for "Sentral Parkir." Restaurant is on the right, near Alpha Sigma Cargo, 100 meters from Giant Supermarket-Bus Parking Halte. It's a 12-minute walk along the main road. Reported fully vegan August 2023. Open Mon-Sun 10:30am-3:00pm, Mon 5:30pm-8:30pm, Tue-Sun 5:30pm-9:00pm.

The location is not the best. If I hadn't seen it on HC I probaly would have missed it. The food is all vegan I think and it's super delicious! Also the prices are very fair. I had some Sapo Tofu, fried dumplings, Sate sticks, a sweet Ice Tea and a bottle of water. I paid 88.000 Rupiah - 5,10€ (Euro) for all. Great!

Read moreI ordered a few plates difficult to find elsewhere in Indonesia. The roast duck is often my favorite at Vietnamese restaurants. Unfortunately, there texture was not more tender and the sauce not as sweet and thick. Tasty, but not great. The fried calamari were also tasty, but they and the sauce were just satisfactory. The pork belly was only ok because the texture felt burnt and crisp.
In summary, this is a good option if you are looking for something different, but maybe not the best for vegan Chinese in Bali.

I tried the Nasi Happy, it was okay. Mostly fried mock meat and rice, it was a bit oily for me but nice to try once. The menu is a lot of mock meat but there are some tofu and just veggie dishes. The prices are very low and the woman working is nice.

Set slightly back on a main road, this small restaurant has a large menu ( with only some items with a picture ) and is extremely cheap with the most expensive item about 30,000IDR. The food I had was tasty and freshly made. The restaurant is fairly basic ( plastic chairs and tables ) and no air conditioning, but the food was worth it and would certainly eat there again.
