Great Vegan options for a non vegan restaurant - Edit
At here my first night in town. I had the falafel wrap and it was delicious and 100% vegan. It was quite big and filling. The ambience off the restaurant itself is really nice and upbeat with music (maybe a bit load). The whole place has a music inspired theme to it. Enjoyed enough that I am back again another night to try something else. I went with the coconut based vegan curry and garlic rice. They definitely understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian. So, just be sure to make your preference known. As with most places here in El Nido they have happy hour drink specials. Here it is from 3-8pm with 4 drink options ranging from 250-300 pesos and they are two for 1.

Forgot to comment on the curry. Flavor was good, but the dish was a bit over salted or salty tasting for me. Rice was nice.

Lovely place with vegetarian & vegan options - Edit
The vibe of this place is so good, recommend to visit for dinner - for the lively music and the mood of this place. The food was good (though not too many options, whatever we ordered was nice) we had some hummus, pita, falafel and drinks

Didn’t know it was possible to mess up a smoothie bowl - Edit
To blend fruit and put it in a bowl seems simple. But it was not good. Very expensive too. Talking 500 pesos for a smoothie bowl and a coffee..

Nice bar / restaurant - Edit
They serve mostly vegetarian and vegan options (there are a few dishes with fish on the menu). The menu is helpfully set out with vegetarian and vegan options labelled. However, be careful when ordering as some things are mislabelled. They have a dish called Humshuka and it is labelled vegan. I asked what was in it and the waiter said eggs. I explained it can’t be vegan if there are eggs in it and the waiter then said that there were no eggs, so I ordered the dish and there was an egg in it. I explained I don’t eat eggs and asked for the Chori Chori instead (which was very nice).
Read moreBefore we left I spoke to another waiter about the typo on the menu. I said it would be helpful if the menu was updated or customers were informed that the dish isn’t vegan. He said there is a symbol which means it might not be vegan but the symbol he referred to is for a gluten free option.

Ok, but expensive and bland - Edit
The first thing we noticed upon entering this place is the very loud music which prevented any kind of reasonable conversation. This should be a significant concern for vegans as it prevents asking detailed questions about the menu.
Read moreWe ordered the falafel sandwich with french fries, which seemed like the signature dish of this place. But the "french fries" were actually potato chips. And the "falafel" was not at all authentic - the strong flavors of lemon, garlic, and tahini that are supposed to be present were essentially absent, leaving it tasting quite bland. And the price was quite expensive. So despite the limited vegan options in El Nido, neither of us felt like returning here.

Falafel love! - Edit
Vegan options are super delicious. Very efficient and friendly staff, highly recommended..
Read moreMake sure to only order menu items that are labelled as vegan, though. I got sold a seemingly vegan dessert (I double checked with two waiters) and had to later learn from the owner that it was not vegan. They then kindly gave me a discount on my meal, but it again is a reminder of how many people don't know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. Watch out and learn some plant based Tagalog skills, even if the place seems very "modern" and aware.
