Delish!! - Edit

The paleo bar is so good!! I couldn’t put it down. I asked if the chocolate is fair trade and turns out it is :)
We also ordered the hazelnut cups. Wow!! Soo good. Give this place a try!

Pros: More than one vegan option, They make custom cakes. Vegan friendly , Delicious treats and great people

Cons: Limited vegan menu

Amazing blondies - Edit

They don't have a ton of choices for pre-baked/ready to go stuff (but that's expected for a small Maple Ridge bakery honestly). The blondies are so good- huge, not too sweet, and only $4. They have some dairy free and gluten free choices also. Staff are always very kind and helpful.

Pros: Delicious, Reasonable price for the size

Cons: More vegan options would be great

Didn’t know what to expect, was pleasantly surprised, they had 3 options, all delicious.

Pros: Vegan aware and friendly, Great to have options in a smaller town, The blondies are incredible!

Vegan Cakes - Edit

Hansel and Gretel is so wonderful. They are very accommodating with vegan requests. I’ve tried many cakes for many occasions, including red velvet, vanilla, chocolate, almond, and Black Forest. This was the first place I enjoyed a Black Forest cake. They do not use maraschino cherries. Their cakes are delicious, fluffy, and presented beautifully. My fiancé and I had an excellent consultation there for our wedding cake and there’s so many icing and cake combinations, we decided to do a variety of cupcakes. As far as daily options go, there’s a blondie Brownie, Paleo bar (basically a Skor bar) and raw chocolate hazelnut bites. I highly recommend Hansel and Gretel. It’s a delightful place.
