Fantastic brunch! - Edit
Came here with my partner right when they opened at 11:30 on a Sunday. We had the place to ourselves actually. On Saturdays and Sundays they have a set brunch menu, with the choice of a vegan or nonvegan option.
Read moreEven though there’s only one option, you get so many things on it! A bowl of fruit, blueberry pancakes, a veggie hash (mine had potatoes, carrots, and broccoli in it), a tofu scramble with some eggplant bacon on top, some hummus, a couple ounces of a smoothie, and a slice of vegan cheese with these amazinggggg preserves/caramelized onions. (All of it was tasty but I could eat a bowl full of those onions 😂) I left feeling full but not overly stuffed.
We were served bread and butter beforehand, and I would say to hold off on eating the bread and save it for your hummus! I ended up eating my hummus with a fork because it was soooo good but it would have been nice to have a vehicle to spread it on. Otherwise, fantastic meal! Came out to roughly the equivalent 25$.

Cute place - Edit
Had vegan brunch and hubby had the regular brunch. Both were tasty and well done. We were offered the 11 min documentary to watch about the history of the person who built the house. It’s interesting. The house has a lot of culture and character. There’s vegan desserts available too.

I had the vegan brunch on a Saturday. It was totally amazing!! The place is cosy and the staff nice. It wasn’t crowded at all. I think it should be, because it was so good.

Amazing vegan brunch! - Edit
We went to Hannesarholt for brunch on a Sunday and I'm so glad we did! It truly is a gem in Reykjavik. It was such a treat to enjoy a vegan meal in a historical site. The house has been nicely restored and you can tour it free of charge. The dining area is bright.

nice cultural heritage - Edit
It is nice that they have semi-veganised one of the oldest cultural houses in Reykjavik. They served brunch; normal and vegan, very similar, only ex ganged the animal proteins with vegan ones. It tasted good. Normal Icelandic price range. Have Icelandic wildflowers on the tables.

Great vegan brunch! - Edit
The best vegan brunch I've had in Reykjavik! It has tofu scramble, pancakes, smoothie, fried root vegetables, fruits, bread, hummus, vegan cheese and caramelized onion. They also have more vegan cakes and food on their menu and all kinds of vegan milk for coffee drinks. This house is very beautiful and has a lot of history and the service was exceptional! A must to check out for vegans in Reykjavík!
