My favourite food place to visit in Wales. - Edit
They do amazing Vegan options, salads, sides, garlic bread and pizza. The offer around 4 vegan options just for pizzas alone. I ordered the pizza with the vegan spicy “sausage” and it was absolutely incredible. I always order from here whenever I’m in Wales. They do eat in or takeaway options.

Lovely, tasty pizza. It wasn’t greasy which was nice. I like that they give some of their profits to the orangutans, however it’s a shame they serve meat at their establishment since it’s the meat industry that causes the most destruction to their habitats. (Palm trees cut down to grow soy for the animals killed for meat).

Was so pleased to see REALLY GOOD vegan options here, it can get a bit worrying when you're travelling and resorting back to chips and a side salad. Also lots (maybe all?) of their profits go toward saving apes and other primate charities. I had a vegan sausage, chili and red onion pizza. Quite the hot kick! Extremely enjoyable, please try this place.

Pre-ordered on the phone (and glad we did as there was a really long queue, even for a Saturday night!) and wasn’t disappointed.
Read moreWe had two of the three vegan pizzas (9 - tomato, vegan mozzarella and basil and 11 - included Pizzarami vegan sausage, chilli and red onion), plus the vegan garlic bread (pizza style not baguette style which is my fav!)
The staff were kind and helpful, the pizza was tasty. We didn’t have the vegan dessert option (ice cream), but a shame there weren’t more options or we might have.
Pros: Three vegan pizza options, Friendly staff, Reasonably priced for what you get

A surprising find, and a mosy welcome treat in the winter at the end of a walk. 3 pizza options, a mushroom bake, salads and a apple & ginger crumble. Delicious!

Really great place with s vegan menu. First night I had an excellent pizza, the chap serving told me the beer wasn't Vegan but the Cider was. Second visit tried the Hummus Bowl with Flatbread, again delicious. Will definitely visit again and would recommend to anyone. Another thing, even though they were flat out busy with a queue out of the door my pizza order came out in 5 minutes!

Unexpected Options! - Edit
We came here hoping to go to the Alpine Coffee Shop for lunch. We were gutted when it was closed. We had originally ruled out this place as we were making pizzas for dinner later on and it looked like the only vegan options on menu were the pizzas. No where else was near by so a nice waiter spoke to the chef to ask if anything could be made vegan. So glad we did! We had the vegetarian mezze board where they swapped the cheese for homemade hummus (was delicious!) and they re-did the mushroom bake to be vegan with garlic oil instead of garlic butter and vegan mozzarella instead of dairy cheese.. it was absolutely delicious! Would come back again and will suggest to them they make the vegan items a permanent feature on the menu!

Pizzeria in the centre of Betws y Coed with a vegan cheese pizza. You can add toppings such as mushroom, sun dried tomato, olives, rocket and red onion. The vegan cheese was really nice. We had the hummus special too as a starter which was delicious. They had a sign on the table we sat at saying they now serve two vegan desserts - a rice pudding and a crumble but we didn't have any room to try them! They also do soya milk for hot drinks. Some of their profits go to monkey charities and they are against the use of palm oil. They have a really cute seating area outside with blankets which would be lovely in the summer, inside there is a really chilled vibe with fairy lights and rustic decor with pictures of monkeys on the walls. Quick service and polite staff. Can't wait to go back here!
