Old school - Edit
Having been around since 1920, Hang Ah is the oldest dim sum restaurant still in operation in the US. But the way they mark their menu for Vegan and vegetarian options seems to be trapped in that era, too. The icons are tiny as hell, and dishes are not consistently highlighted as veg*n, so you might as well just ask the staff. At least the limited selection was good, and the staff pointed out some specials that hadn't made their way onto the official menu (e.g., vegetable buns, vegetable pot stickers). Would probably only return with out-of-town visitors, as I did this time.

I should have walked out - Edit
I should have looked more closely at other reviews. Even fried tofu comes with pork sauce; out of vegetable dumplings; scallion pancakes come with fish sauce; gnats flying; cleanliness issues. I’d rather go to Yank Sing where they will communicate about what choices are vegan.
