Texture is a bit weird - Edit
The flavor is good but the texture is strange. The vegan chicken doesn’t feel very meaty, but rather gooey.

Got an order of mine wrong and refused to refund me. Consistently poor service every time I’ve been. Too bad because their jackfruit bowls are pretty good. Not worth it for me.

Good vegan bowl option - Edit
They do an awesome vegan bowl here with white rice, stir fry veggies, and a mock chicken. Super good and very popular. They usually run out of it early into the night though, which is a bummer.

The vegan option is good, you can modify the bowls, and they have an interesting toppings bar. The service is slow, but everyone is friendly.

Their vegan tacos and bowls are so hearty and yummy... The teriyaki sauce they use definitely gives it a great flavor, and adding sriracha adds a nice kick. Taco Tuesdays were a lifesaver during college, as you could get a taco for $1.50 (not sure if they still do it)!

Drove my family here and they didn't have any vegan bowls available. Then we passed by their other location in downtown and we wanted something to eat but of course there was no vegan bowls... not sure if it was just for the day but we were very disappointed.

If you're in IV, Hana is a great place to get a takeout-style meal. The vegan bowl is filling, tasty, and quality for the price (whatever size). If you like simple Asian-American food, this is good. The bowl is a white rice base, stir fry type veggies, and tons of saucy vegan chicken (see picture). Take advantage of their extra sauces and pickled veggies

Good, Cheap, Vegan-Friendly Lunch Place in IV - Edit
Get the vegan bowl or tacos. The bowl is really filling and includes lots of rice and cabbage. They have an even larger size for big eaters.
Read moreThe "meat" is a fake chicken--I think it's probably seitan, but not sure. It can be hit or miss, depending on who's cooking that day. Their spice bar is great with lots of pickled veggies and spring onions to add to your bowl or tacos.
I've been there a bunch of times and would recommend it. The outdoor seating is nice for people watching and enjoying the sun.
Pros: Explicit vegan options, Spice/pickled veggie bar (free), Outdoor seating
Cons: Veggie meat can be a miss on some days
