Read more… Because I had a very bad time. Asked what they recommend and after some discussion ordered a vegetable bowl and a mushroom dish. First of all it took eighty minutes to get the food which greatly messed up my schedule for the rest of the day (and not due to the kitchen being busy, because we were only two in the restaurant). Secondly, once I got it, the mushroom bits was hard as stone (clearly from dried mushrooms that hadn’t been soaked enough), making that dish inedible, and the vegetable bowl turned out to be barely only rice (which I hadn’t ordered at all and wasn’t mentioned when I asked about all the ingredients) with very little veggies. Rice wasn’t cooked properly so I could eat much of that either. Was very disappointed, still had to pay full price (which already was expensive) and then had to go get food somewhere else as most of the food I got here was indigestible. So yeah, it was a bad experience.
Pros: All vegan
Cons: Loooong waiting time , Rice still hard (not sufficiently cooked)

Inexpensive, delicious & healthy - Edit
We have been twice so far and have loved everything we ordered! The glass noodles, the tofu & seitan sushi, the ice cream, herbal tea, soy chai, thupka. The lovely owner is vegan himself and makes so much on site, the vegan cheese, yoghurt & ice cream. Love the vibe as well with nice music playing. The staff are all so kind, and even helped us with advice on catching the bus. Highly recommend and I hope we return to try the pizza!

The mayo and vegan cheese are homemade and super tasty.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and easily catered for special requests for some of the dishes (no onion, no garlic)
Definitely going back. Can only highly recommend. #Veganuary

We came here before visiting Patan durbar square and the food was really good! We had the glass noodles and fried rice - both delicious. It was also very comfortable to hang out and sit for a little while.

There is so much to recommend here! In no particular order: the decor has a crisp modern vibe while at the same time being comfortable and inviting. The menu is huge. The staff is friendly and speaks English. The food we ordered was excellent. Because it was our first full day in Nepal/Kathmandu, I went local and got momos, which were quite tasty. The 2 non-vegans I was traveling with got pizza. Vegan pizza can be hit or miss due to vegan cheese. This was a hit. Terrific tasting pizza that ranks as one of the best I've tasted.

Their menu was huge!!!! Sad that i‘ll leave soon, otherwise I would‘ve tried there more. I had the vegan pepperoni pizza and they had melted(!!!) vegan cheese aghhh!!! Also tried their corndog pretty awesome cuz I never saw a vegan version even in my home country! They even had a seating smoking area where I was very happy about it lol. Aa think a must try when you‘re in patan.

Best vegan place in Kathmandu - Edit
We came here on our first night in Kathmandu and couldn’t help but keep coming back. The food is exceptional and it’s been so fulfilling having the authentic Nepalese food experience while maintaining our vegan diets. The owner is so welcoming and very enthusiastic to help with dish selection. He also makes and sells his own range of seitan pickles, which are equally exceptional. The seitan sukati sadeko is a must try (if you don’t mind spice). We also recommend their home made ice cream.

The best homemade Seitan - Edit
Whilst staying in Patan, Happy Cow directed us to this vegan restaurant. We were not only made very welcome by the owner we were rewarded with excellent vegan food, including his home made seitan, which was so good, I would have expected it on an expensive vegan restaurant in London. Highly recommended if you are in Patan, Kathmandu. Will be a customer again when we return.

I had a choila, seitan chilly and a noodle soup. The dishes were 8/10. The masala tea is freshly made, properly, not just a teabag! I found the tofu chilly too spicy so be careful! Gave me bad stomach ache for two days due to the spicyness!

Great food in Patan - Edit
After a few hours in Durbar Square, we took a break and headed straight for Hamro. I had tried their spicy Newari seitan before so I was looking forward to having it prepared in a dish. And we loved it. We had seitan choila with beaten rice and seitan mo-mo. Both were fantastic. Spicy but not overpowering. The momo also delicious and balanced. We also had the yellow smoothie (banana, pineapple, ginger, turmeric and some other things I cant recall). Finished it off with their own home made ice cream. Perfect restorative meal. And the owner was there and he’s a genuine and warm person.

peaceful and quiet place, great to recharge and relax from the chaos of the city. also nice to have some food other than the usual indian and nepali dishes. we tried onion rings, fish chips, oreo milkshake and ice cream. everything tasted good and the staff was very friendly. one of the few places that has soy milk!
