Good food

They offer 2 vegan and 3 vegetarian burgers, alongside many meat options. Quick nand friendly service, and the restaurant is nicely decorated with Lisbon style tiles.

Good burger and chip venue

Clearly marked and good selection of vegan burgers.
We had the bean burger and the portobello mushroom burger. Both come with fries. Very tasty.

Love it!

I come here super often and I always have the tempeh burger! Really love it, super delicious, fair price and a good place to come with non vegan/vegetarian friends!

Good burgers

Had the tempeh burger without mayo, came with fries. Very tasty, I really enjoyed it. Happy to find it open on a Monday as lots of places are closed. Cosy inside but all 8 of us sat at 2 tables.

Pros: Tasy food, friendly servers

Cons: Small place if you're a big group

Brillant burgers

Not the traditional Portuguese cuicinez but a decent lunch restaurant. 2 vegan options and 5 vegetarian burgers. lunch menu with burgers fries or sallad soft drink or lemonade. Frequented by business people on lunch time.

Pros: Nice bread, Herbs on the fries, Lemonade!

Cons: Maybe a bit expensive

A few options at a burger place

The vegan burger was ok, not as good as I would have hoped. Upgrade to a salad; it’s worth it.

Delicous burguers

We arrived there at 11:20am thinking it was open but it just opens at 12am and stayed 10 minutes outside until the server comes up to us asking for us to enter because it was cold outside, it shows that they care about their clients. Asked for a red beans veg burguer that comes already with fries and veg mayo, recommend it!

Pros: Great price, Delicious

Cons: The burguer was falling apart a little

Good option for Monday's

They have vegetarian and vegan options. The burger comes with fries. Mine were cold. Ask for vegan mayo for the fries. The Seitan burger tasted good. Could have been a bit more warm as well. I was grateful for the place since most other options around were closed on Monday.

Pros: vegan burgers, vegan mayo

Cons: cold/ low temperature food

Great vegan burgers

The place has 5 vegetarian option that you can turn vegan if you ask to exclude the mayo. Their seitan burger is one of the best I've ever had and the restaurants looks really good.

Good burgers

Place is nice and cozy, with 5 vegetarian burgers that are vegan without the mayo. I had the Black bean and Tofu burger, which was ok. The sweet Potato fries are tasty too.

Pros: 4 vegan burgers, price is good

Veggie burgers constantly sold out

I wish the managers would acknowledge that the demand for the veggie burgers is higher than they initially expected and increased their stock. It's really disappointing because their veggie burgers are really outstanding and some of them are vegan (I usually go for the Portobello without egg and it's amazing). I'd like to rate it higher but I'm hoping that this can be a wake up call.
If you're vegan, ask for the fries without sauce, it's mayo and it's included by default.

Good to have a vegan option

Hamburgueria do Bairro is a very trendy chain of burgers, offering several vegan burgers - tofu, seitan, falafel and portobello. Please specify you want it vegan as it will otherwise come with sauces which are not vegan (same applies for the fries).

It's an OK burger and it's great to have so many vegan options in a meat place.

Vegans don't bother

I am astounded that somewhere that has four vegetarian burgers on the menu could not offer me anything vegan to eat.

In desperation I ordered French fries which came out served on the same plate as my companion's meat burger and covered in mayonnaise. Massive fail. Get with the program people.

Pros: Veggie burger options for vegetarians , open more hours than most places

Cons: nothing vegan on the menu, don't understand vegan

Decent Place for a Quick Meal

I popped in here one evening while visiting Lisbon, and had a decent, if unremarkable, veggie burger with chips. The staff were friendly, and the place is very popular - we had to wait a few minutes for a table to free up, and then had to share with another group. But it's a cheap and cheery kind of place, so that was no problem.
