Good food and nice variety - Edit
As said good food with good options and changing dishes. Nice variety of sweets. Burger was pretty tasty and the sweets were good also. But it was not outstanding. Nice was that they sell leftovers for only 3$ and further sell some other stuff. Parking directly in front of the store possible.

Very much enjoy Half Peach Bakery and Cafe, a variety of tasty options. The Chocolate Chip cookies are the yummiest. Sometimes the service is slow though it is worth the wait.

Owner is very knowledgeable of plant based lifestyle, and for all the right reasons! My fav menu items include the nachos, Po’ Boy, rosemary fries, vegan cheese (nailed it!) the cookies, I’ve never had a bad meal here and I never feel guilty about it!

Favorite spot when visiting Louisville - Edit
I went here for lunch on my last visit to Louisville. It’s such a cute place! I got the Chimpossible burger but opted for the house made patty instead of the impossible burger. I can get the impossible burger anywhere. It was SO good! I had apple broccoli salad as my side which was good. They have locally made kombucha in the cooler so I got some of that. I tried the cookies and cream cake which I thought was a little dry. The chocolate chip cookies are very good! I would like to go back and try more of the options. The owner was very kind and I appreciate that. Can’t wait to go back!

Excellent variety of vegan options, considering the Shelbyville Road area is mostly chain restaurants. I have yet to try them all. The banh mi and black eyed pea burger are both good, will have to try the Nashville "chicken" next. There's a rotating brunch steam table on Sundays.

The Half Peach Cafe has so many yummy items on the menu. I had the Black-eyed pea veggie burger made gluten free and oil free. My husband had the Bahn Mi with Pumpkin soup. We loved it!! The staff is courteous and helpful. We didn’t have any dessert but the cakes and cookies looked amazing. I highly recommend.

The prices were impressive and the atmosphere welcoming and enjoyable. The breakfast menu was creative and fun to consider and eat. Great place to stop and grab a healthy, delicious smoothie, as well. Do yourself a favor, however, and don’t leave without a chocolate chip cookie.

Nice open friendly, casual atmosphere. Great drinks like bottled Ky Kombucha and excellent smoothies made to order. They made a Date Coffee Smoothie that was wonderful. The vegan cheesecake is superb. I have had the raw blueberry and the strawberry, loved both. The pizzas are great, my boys love the Margherita, which is cheese with basil. The crust is really excellent. I enjoyed dipping it in the cheese sauce that I ordered with fries. The fries are great too. Several times for an entree I’ve had a medium or large food bowl and selected the root veggies, bbq tofu and veggie stir fry. All excellent and there are more options already made for the bowls, like potatoes. A big plus for me is some is cooked without oil. It’s difficult to find oil free food eating out but that is exactly what I am looking for.

I have enjoyed many meals here, and it remains one of my favorite local restaurants. First, it's a great feeling when you know everything is plant-based. They also offer gluten-free and oil-free options. The menu creations are brilliant and tasty; lots of variety - crisp and tasty taco salad, delicious won ton soup, hearty black-eyed pea burger (with cashew cheese), to name a few of my favorites. I dare say that even carnivores could find something tasty and satisfying. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Prices are quite reasonable.

Wow, what a cute cozy place to eat. Stopped through here on my cross country drive and so happy I did! I had the Falafel Taco and it's by far the best taco I've ever had. Delicious!

We had a delicious - home made taste - dinner there. Customers in the restaurant were telling us : " this is a must " or " you should really try that"

The eggplant of the sea sandwich : unbelievable ... taste like fried fish. Crazy good!!!
Chili cheese fries : one of the best cashew cheese we have ever tried
Pumpkin soup ( oil and gluten free) tasted like peach cream..
wonton soup ( very delicious)
And we took 2 different desserts they all look amazing. We will try them at breakfast tomorrow ..
Everything is vegan. A lot of organic ingredients and a really kind family taking care of customers...
They do also personalized custom cakes and fresh daily bakery... a big difference in the sandwiches...
we recommend !!!

My nonvegan sisters and I enjoyed the tasty food and relaxed environment. I definitely recommend the spicy chicken sandwich, scrambled tofu with potatoes, and any of their deserts!

My favorite cafe! - Edit
The food is always amazing, healthy, and made with love. The staff is generally pretty friendly and the food comes out quickly. I read another review that said they were slow but I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for my food at this cafe. The atmosphere here is so nice and calm with a ton of natural light and plants and flowers everywhere.

I love the food at Half-Peach Bakery & Cafe. I'm both Vegan and Gluten-Free and they have several GF options although they are not a GF cafe. The owner (at least I think she's the owner) truly cares about the food and the service but her staff is frequently slow and not very knowledgeable about the food and it's ingredients. That said, it's obvious that the food is prepared (by the owner) with loving care and you'll feel good putting it into your body. Just don't be in a hurry when you go there.
