Didn’t get to eat there

Walked in to about 4/5 men staring at us and giving us dirty looks, not saying anything. We eventually asked if they were open and we were told to sit upstairs. Other customers were staring at us as we walked past, made us feel very uncomfortable. Staff were around us cleaning tables and serving other people but we got completely ignored and didn’t even get a menu to look at. After about 10 minutes we decided to leave as we felt very uncomfortable.
Felt as though it was a very local area and they didn’t like us as tourists? Avoid if you’re not a local I guess??

Pros: None

Cons: Rude , Ignored us

Good vegan options, fantastic drinks!

My husband and I came to Habanera on a Friday afternoon. We ordered the spicy margaritas. I tried to have don julio in mine, but the waiter said that it was another tequila and if I didn’t like it to let him know (it was great!)

The table automatically gets chips and salsa that is super fresh. However, I think the chips were Doritos because they looked like they had cheese on them /:

We ordered the guacamole and my husband requested non-Dorito chips. We also ordered our mains (I got the veggie burrito and he got the chicken burrito, I think.) We waited a long time for the chips to arrive but the guacamole was really good! It complimented our burritos, which were a bit cold due to waiting for said chips. The veggie burrito had big portions of veggies, rice, and beans. It wasn’t the best tasting meal, but it was definitely filling and I would eat it again.

Finally, we shared another margarita (one with Disaronno) and it was amazinggg!

Overall, the service was very strange (our server was obviously stressed) and the food was overall pretty good. It’s not the most authentic Mexican/Caribbean food, but it’s a nice experience!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great drinks, Cute decor

Cons: Service can be weird, Doritos being served
