Staff is very helpfull, but no marks on vegan items

Staf really kind and wants to help, but does not speak English and has no idea what is vegan on menu.
Based on english menu you can show to the waitress what you wish.
Restaurant us nice and local

Pros: Local restaurant with local foods

Cons: Clearly stating vegan items on menu

Nice place, good food

We ordered pickles, imam baildi, mushroom soup, hummus, buckwheat, Chaerophyllum greens and potatoes with mushrooms. Most of the food was great; only the pickled cauliflower had a strange aftertaste, I wouldn't order that again.

The hummus was different - it didn't taste of chickpeas and tahini, but had a gentle, potato-ey vibe. Maybe it's made with yellow split peas (the menu says peas)? Very nice.

The service was also great - our waitress didn't speak English, but she was super friendly and eager to help, and we got by with Google translate. There was an English menu on our table, which also helped a lot.

Pros: Nice rustic atmosphere, Lively place, Good food

Poor service

We went in, the uninterested waiter - after asking - found us a table but didn't give us English menus and after 15 minutes of waiting for his attention we just left.

Pros: Ok interior

Cons: Waiters were not interested in serving

There's a little bell contraption on the table that you can ring for service, but we only discovered that by chance. Perhaps in your case they didn't consider that non-locals might not know this system😒Sorry to hear about your experience!

I think that system was not there when we visited two years ago, we would have noticed 🙈
