Great food and friendly staff! - Edit
As soon as we walked in we were greeted, and once we let them know we were vegan they took their time to show us everything we could eat. Everything was yummy and we left full and happy.

Lovely staff and good food - Edit
Such a nice restaurant. Staff is really friendly and the food is great. The separate vegetarian makes it really easy to order. Could have more vegan options though and it gets a bit pricy if you feel really hungry

Clearly labelled vegan amd veg options - Edit
I'm long term vegetarian, trying to be vegan but struggling whilst travelling in Japan with a partner who wants to eat Japanese cuisine. This place was a welcome relief to find as there is a separate non meat and fish menu with vegan options clearly labelled, including a vegan dessert option. It's a fast food type establishment so better for an informal meal rather than a proper sit down affair. Also serve alcholic drinks. Staff are very friendly and don't rush you, even when place is busy. We sat at the bar

Only one vegan dumpling - Edit
A little disappointed because they only have 1 vegan dumpling. Well 2 if you count a dessert one.

Cute and fun place - Edit
The vegan set is a good value for price. I had the Shibazuke and Yuba gyoza with French fries and a draft beer. The Yuba was my favorite, but I love tofu skin. I sat at the bar, which was cozy and the staff was really great and nice. I had planned to try the dessert gyoza but I was too full after all the food (and a second beer!)

Better Out There - Edit
There is definitely better vegan gyoza out there. I had the one vegan gyoza option (yuba gyoza). The soy milk skin is probably what ruined it for me. It wasn't like any vegan gyoza I've ever tasted. The same with the dessert vegan chocolate banana gyoza option. It was bland and didn't have much sweet taste to the chocolate. Luckily it isn't expensive so it didn't feel like I wasted money. But I was definitely disappointed and left hungry.
Read moreStaff are friendly and speak English. I was actually surprised to see basically all foreigners at this gyoza place. No Japanese. Seems like it's probably not a first choice for the locals. I can understand why.
Pros: Friendly staff, Price
Cons: Limited Seating, Limited Options

limited options but very good! - Edit
There was only one vegan gyoza with some vegan sides and a banana and chocolate gyoza for a dessert which was amazing!! But if you are vegetation there is a whole menu with tons of options! The staff was super sweet and the food was really good with vegan options clearly marked. If anything stop by for the banana chocolate gyoza :)

Such friendly staff, loved having a separate vego menu. The dumplings were the stuff of dreams! We came close to closing so we only got to try three types but I definitely want to go back and try as much as possible.

Super fun and yum - Edit
Staff are absolutely lovely, English menu available. As other reviews have mentioned there is a no meat no fish menu available, but they are upfront about the fact that it is cooked with the same equipment. My husband loved their meat gyoza and I was super happy with my tofu and mashed potato gyoza.

Good options for tasty gyoza - Edit
This restaurant offers loads of veggie and vegan options for gyoza. It also has loads of meat versions which my partner appreciated.
Read moreThere is a separate veggie menu available in Japanese and English. They do state that meat and fish are cooked in the same kitchen so some veggies/vegans might not like this but I think you are lucky to find anything veggie and tasty in Japan so it’s worth the risk.
Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was great. Really recommend.
Would give 5 stars if I was allowed to.

The staff here are very friendly and the one vegan gyoza option they have (yuba) is really tasty! I wish they had more options, however, but it’s a good start as it’s a really popular restaurant.

Wide range of flavours.

Tried all the vegetarian no-meat dishes and French fries, and then the two desserts.
My gf loved the cheese Gyoza (she doesn't usually like Gyoza), and I liked the fried mashed potato Gyoza ... And the French fries (you can ask for mayo) haha!
Pretty chill place with ample space for costs, bags, and umbrellas.

Delicious but maybe not for very strict vegans - Edit
Fyi that they use the same oil/equipment for the vegetarian stuff (it is clearly stated on the menu, so they're upfront about it.) Just want to put that out there for those who would mind. Usually in the states I'm a bit more picky about that (I've definitely turned my nose up at french fries that were fried with chicken fingers, for example) but I had already made my partner walk a bit far to get to this place and it was getting late so I just went with it.
Read moreThe gyoza were delicious- we had the yuba and the pickled plum ones.. Both were good but we both preferred the latter and ordered a second round of them. The lady at the counter was awesome and friendly. A nice open late option for people who don't mind the shared equipment!

Cons: shared equipment
