Absolutely delicious and worth the wait! - Edit
Waited about 30 mins and we’re not disappointed. Loved the energy of the kitchen. Dumplings were phenomenal. One of my favourite Japan meals!

Good times gyozas - Edit
Easy ”izakayish” experience with english menus and helpfull staff. Its mostly foregners and usually a bit of a wait, but easilly worth it. Gyosas are spot on and with a couple of sides you get a deacent meal. Vegan stuff is clearly marked and theres is chili oil, soy sauce and misopastes on table.
Read moreIf you are strict vegan this place is not for you, as they cook all the food in same cookers.
Pros: Taste, Atmosphere, Easyness
Cons: Not fully vegan, Long lines

You have to queue to get vegan dumplings.lol - Edit
A gyoza restaurant with vegan options. The English menu clearly explains the vegan options. There are only two vegan dumpling choices🥟
Read more(When we visited, two types of gyoza were vegan: the vegetable gyoza and the yuba gyoza.)
The staff is very energetic and very lively.
It gets crowded with gyoza-loving tourists, so we recommend going right after opening to avoid lining up.
The set includes two types of gyoza, a small side dish and a drink. (Choose your gyoza, side dishes, and drinks from the menu. 😉)

There are a lot of better gyozas out there - Edit
I honestly don't understand the hype. After waiting for 1 hour, the gyozas were not good, probably one of the worst I've had in Japan. The fried tofu was okay. The price is not cheap.

Great - Edit
As a picky vegetarian, this is the best meal I've had after a week in Japan. The deep fried tofu and yuba gyosa are delicious. Very friendly staff!

Nice set menu but not very filling - Edit
I got the veggie set menu, ¥1990 incl tax if you got an alcoholic drink (slightly cheaper but not by much for a soft drink). This included two types of gyoza and a side dish. I had the yuba gyoza (tofu) and vegetable gyoza, with edamame as the side. It was all nice tasting but it was not filling for this price. I went somewhere else and had a second dinner afterwards.
Read moreI arrived around 6.30 pm and had no wait times, but a line soon built up afterwards.
Note that gyoza are cooked with the same utensils as the meat, so don't come here if this bothers you.

Delicious gyoza! - Edit
We waited in line for around 45mins at a little past 8pm tonight but it was worth it! Friendly staff - we were sat at the bar where you can see the cooking. I had the vegetarian set meal (choosing 2x vegan gyoza and deep fried tofu, also marked vegan) including alcohol which was just under ¥2000. Gyoza were very tasty, especially with the spicy miso added (on the table). Cabbage comes with a delicious sesame dressing too. Really enjoyed it.

Cross contamination and long wait - Edit
Not really worth it and they cook on the same cookware than meat. I took the deep fried ones that were a meh. Long queue that is not worthing the hype… but amazing staff!

Worth the wait - Edit
We had to wait in Line for quite a bit, but it's definitely worth the wait since the food was soooo good. The gyoza we're so delicious, I would Love to come back. They have a seperaten Veggie Menü where the difference between vegan and vegetarian dishes is clearly marked. You can also pre-order after your first Order If you're still hungry. Everyone was friendly and the food was soooo good!

Good Service, tasty Gyoza - Edit
We waited about 40 minutes on a Sunday evening. The service was really nice and fast. We liked the atmosphere. The gyoza were really tasty, the staff even recommended the best choice of sauces for the gyoza we‘ve ordered.

We waited about an hour in line, and it was worth every minute. What an experience! We sat at the counter and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere the staff created. They love what they do, and they enjoy interacting with their customers. And the FOOD is heavenly!!! We got the set menu with the two vegan gyoza options. Just wow!

Pretty good but not amazing - Edit
There are clearly labeled vegan items on the menu, including 2 gyozas. I didn’t quite like the yuba gyoza one, but loved the vegetable one. This was a popular spot with a long lineup, even nearing closing time. Good experience overall - cute space & friendly staff too.

Not really worth the wait - Edit
This is a very touristy restaurant. There wasn't a single Japanese customer in the place and everything is in English. Not that that's inherently a bad thing, but the prices were high and wait times very long. We had to wait over an hour to get in.
Read moreThere are only 2 vegan gyoza options, which you can order as part of a "no meat set", which was just under 2,000yen. On paper it sounded like quite a lot of food but in reality, the portion was very small. I was still hungry afterwards and wished they had some rice to go with it.
The gyoza themselves were just meh. A bit soggy and oily. I've had frozen ones from the supermarket that were better.

Nice experience - Edit
For us it was more of a cultural experience than a dinner. The staff is very nice and welcoming and you sit right in front of them. The gyozas are good however i prefered the ones at T's Tantan. Not sure it worths the 40 minutes wait. Also the fixed menu portion is small for the price.

Best Meal in Kyoto! - Edit
Probably the best meal I had in Kyoto. Reached early in the evening around 6:20 and had to line up for about 40 mins. Literally everything on the menu was delicious! They use the same skillet for all gyozas though so if you are not comfortable with that this place can be avoided. Tried the Yuba Gyoza, Vegetable Gyoza, Mushroom Gyoza with Cheese, Cheese Balls. My partner ordered the Pork Gyozas and was beyond happy. The staff was so so so friendly, super comfortable with English and all around it was a super comfortable yet authentically Japanese vibe. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend! PS: Must try the peach sour!!
