Great place to stop

Nice they had both prepared food and options to order freshly made dishes. Food was good. Tasty and fresh.

All dishes on sale were vegan when I visited. I speak Thai and was with 2 Thais so it was well checked.

Vegetarian, yes but vegan, no...

Arrived in town late in the afternoon and was starving. The food here was okay but keep in mind this is not a vegan restaurant. It is vegetarian. There is dheese and butter used in some of the dishes. It is difficult to ask about the food to unless you speak Thai. There is no English spoken here. Given the vegan choices in this town thoughm this may bery well be your best bet.

Good option

Went here directly from the station around 3.30pm and there was enough food left for the two of us, but wasn't a great deal to choose from. I imagine like most of these places it's better to go earlier. Unfortunately, i noticed a sign saying they were closed the day after, but luckilly they are not the only veg place in town, there's actually three in the centre. Paid 35 baht for two servings on rice.

Pros: Good food, inexpensive

Nice Place

A really nice typical Thai vegan food place to get your veggie fix. I think this is the only one in Phayao and I was glad to visit recently to find it still exists.
For a simple, local place they actually have quite an extensive selection as well as buffet dishes, hot freshly served dishes and lots of snacks.

very good jay restaurant.

Good food, very cheap. 3 veggies plus rice around 50. Noodle soup around 40b. Also sticky rice in banana leaf. All in all a good place to go to.

Go here

Their little English menu reads "everything vegetarian" but I think actually, everything is vegan. I personally love the curries, tofu(?) sausage, and soup served on the side, all for a really low price and served with a smile.

I'm staying in Phayao for 3 days to relax, after a few weeks of working on my laptop non-stop. Think I'll be coming to this place for all my needs for edibles.

Pros: Lots of dishes to choose from, just point at what

Snacks, desserts, yummy curries and smiley people!

We ate here for lunch tbe 2 days we were here.

The restaurant has a nice seating area, the people are the smiliest and as helpful as can be!
We had four different curries which were very flavourful and not too spicy which is great. brown rice in big portions and a very inexpensive too!

NO msg either- wooo!

Definitely pay this restaurant a visit!!!

Cons: Buffet items.
