I ate a vegan tofu burger, which was really tasty. Also the fries and the extra onions were amazing. Even my father liked it (sadly he didn't order a vegan option).

Menu hamburguer, chips and drink: 4 options (chickpeas with paprika, chickpeas with curry, tofu, seitan)

Chips were really hard, probably not fried at that moment.
It took them 10 mins to serve us the plates.

Very poor experience - Edit
It happened twice, I gave them a second opportunity, was as bad as the first one.

Second time, I asked before ordering again a seitan burger, they said it was fine, no problem, so I went for it. Again was dry and stiff, I called the waiter and complain, he offered to replace it, so I order a tofu burger, hoping to get the real deal. The tofu burger was also dry and stiff, the waiter offered tio change again. But, really change it with what, those are to only two vegetarian options they have.
I said I was going to write a bad review in Facebook, but I never did. Now it is the time to let people know. If you are vegan or vegetarian don't go there.
In compensation, I have to said the sweet potatoes are very good. But nobody goes to a place to have sweet potatoes.
Pros: sweet potatoes are very good
Cons: seitan burger (gluten meat) dry and stiff, tofu burger dry and stiff, only these two veggie options

Nice place to eat a vegan burger - Edit
A nice burger place with a good atmosphere where clearly locals also go regularly. There are two vegan burgers on the menu, which are served with fries or sweet potato fries (plus 0.50€). I had the tofu burger (8€) which was good, not super special but just good. No vegan desserts sadly, but you can get a nice cup of coffee. The staff were very lovely, so would recommend!

Good vegan burger - Edit
Very popular burger place in Carcavelos frequented by locals. They have one fully vegan burger (7,25€) and you can choose between tofu (quite tasty) or seitan and comes with regular fries or sweet potato fries for an extra 0,30€. There is also a vegetarian wrap but I did not try. Attentive and fast service, quality ingredients and friendly atmosphere. Seems to be very popular, we were there on a weekday and had to wait more than 20 minutes for a table. Good option for a casual vegan lunch since there is not much choice around the area.
