Just lovely!

We tried the Bifana and the bifana sublime and it was extremely delicious and freshly made!
You could really feel and taste how passionate they are about their creations.
It was so nice to be able to try traditional Portuguese food, since most of it is either fish or meat.

Absolutely wonderful!

Everything about this was lovely - friendly staff, yummy food (we had burger with mushrooms, empanada and bowl), great and cozy stand. It was at the vegan market, so we were just surrounded by a great atmosphere too. They also had a huge variety to choose from, and all vegan. Thanks for the food! We highly recommend!

best vegan nata in town!

Pedro had perfected the vegan nata - sweet, creamy and lemony. We go here every week for their delicious food and bubbling personalities. Even when there is a heaving queue they keep their cool and serve with a smile.

We’ve tried 3 other vegan pasteis de nata and none come close to this exquisite feast. They also have a lovely array of savory food and coffee. Win win win.

Awesome grab to eat

Vegan Pastel de Natas!

Such a gem! Had my only pastel de nata in Portugal thanks to Gupi as well as amazing empadas. The couple that run the place are suuuper sweet. Definitely a can’t miss in Lisbon! I even bought their tote bag to support.

Unbelievable Find

My group was just walking through the market and stumbled upon this gem. The line can sometimes be long (1 person is taking orders and 1 person is cooking), but the food is worth the wait. The Pica-Pau was a revelation: pickled vegetables with marinated vegan meat served with bread. The Bifana was a flavorful sandwich with vegan meat, which was a good compliment. The pastel was also worth munching on while waiting for the food. Don't miss this place!

Switching locations

Amazing vegan pastel de nata

So pleased I got to try vegan pastel de nata. I also bought a tofu empanada which was great, and a Nutella bread. I got a lemon and lime donut which I didn’t like quite as much, but the rest was amazing. Staff were friendly 😌 definitely recommend

Vegan pasteis de nata and more

I am so happy I stumbled on this place accidentally! I didn't think I'd get to try vegan pasteis de nata but they had it and it was so good (my favourite out of what we ordered)! Everything else was good too!

Inside the art market by the pantheon, which is part of the larger flea market in Alfama only on Saturdays:) on Google maps it's called mercado de Santa Clara

Worth queueing!

Finally got some vegan pica pao! My wife’s childhood memories included - so nice. Also: mushroom burgers, empanadas, bowls and all kind of sweets. Make sure you check the opening hours and places (along local markets like the big flee market de Santa Clara).

Maravilhosa surpresa

É um espaço no Mercado de Santa Catarina que só abre às terças, sábados e domingos com pastelaria vegan! Tem doces e salgados, refeições e um cappuccino maravilhoso!

Pros: Tudo vegan, Super simpáticos

Soooo good and so cheap.

The focaccia was SO GOOD. I also had a tofu empanada and a nutella bun. Both were amazing. It's very cheap, the staff is very nice and the location is ideal, so there's usually a queue and it can be a little slow!
