Menu has changed dramatically - Edit
They no longer offer many vegan options. They have a hummus plate and vegan chili. Today they had a vegan soup option, chickpea broccoli.

Only restaurant open on a Sunday night - Edit
We were surprised to find that an arty tourist-oriented community had exactly one restaurant open on a Sunday night. Of course, we are not travelling at the height of the tourist season (but virtually every hotel room in town is booked this weekend due to the fall colors).
Read moreNaturally it was very crowded and we had to wait quite a while just to get in. The place makes no bones about the fact that it is a bar in an arty tourist-oriented community and prices were about what you would expect.
I had the chili without sour cream and my wife did an impossible burger.
Pros: Lots of vegan/veg choices, Friendly knowledgeable staff
Cons: Slow service

Expensive for what it is - Edit
Had falafel salad and a bean burrito. Waaay too expensive for how basic it was.

Needs improvement - Edit
I got the vegan chili and it was very tasty. I feel like it isn't common to find a vegan chili in the Midwest. I am giving a lower score because I specifically asked for no cheese and there was still some cheese on top of the chili that I could easily see. Just a bummer.

Amazing food, live music, and a beautiful view! - Edit
I enjoyed the fajitas without sour cream and cheese and my boyfriend enjoyed the Jerry veggie wrap and vegetarian chili (without sour cream and cheese and added gaucamole). We both loved the food as this place had been recommended by our local friends as one of the best restaurants in Grand Marais for vegan options! We went for lunch on a weekday sitting outside and enjoyed listening to a musician playing live music across the street along the lakeshore. Great view, atmosphere, and food! It’s near tons of cute local shops too!

Cons: Some items are a little more pricey, Vegan options not clearly listed but easy to find
