Fully vegan crave-worthy menu - Edit
Only place in Saskatoon with fully vegan/plant-based menu so nothing has to be adjusted, great for vegans and vegetarians! It's a cozy little space but also has outdoor dining, location doesn't jump out at you so watch your google maps the first few times you go if you do take-out or dine in (also on skipthedishes), the food is fabulous for transitioning or for a treat. They also have some great options in the front of shop food items. I love the bacun, skrimp and dill dip. Bacon was the hardest thing for me to let go of and this alternative is amazing.

Best Vegan Mac and Cheese, Burgers, and Caesar Salad - Edit
Honestly, this place is known for its chicken (burgers are the best chicken offering IMO) but my favourites are the impossible burgers, chili mac and cheese, and the caesar salad. All three are the best vegan versions I have ever had! This is just a quick take out joint (nothing fancy) but a must try for any vegetarian/vegan visiting Saskatoon. I recommend it to my meat eater friends as a way to try vegan food that doesnt "taste healthy". Vegan doesnt mean you dont like a good take out burger😉

Excellent food and many options - Edit
We enjoyed having an all veg menu to choose from. Tons of vegan options! The group of us tried the grilled cheese (vegan cheese), vegan chocolate milkshake, and salt n pepper vegan drumsticks. All were great. The store also had Squish brand candies and some frozen meat substitutes like Happy Veggie Planet brand items.

Excellent - Edit
All vegan, many gf options too! I find the shakes are too sweet, but that could just be me. Not a huge fan of their Caesar salad but everything else is amazing. Especially VGF tacos!!!! Many kombucha flavours too. I go here several times whenever I'm in Saskatoon.

Vegan Comfort Food - Edit
The food here is always amazing, but the location is a little out of the way and the interior is one of the most poorly designed/thought-out restaurants to which I have ever been. This isn't healthy vegan food, but it is amazingly tasty and comforting especially the fried chicken. This is a place you go for the food not the atmosphere as you can expect to sit in a super uncomfortable chair cramped in a hallway next to a bathroom or against a freezing concrete wall (assuming it's not summer). The icons for male/female on the bathrooms are worth checking out.

Super good food! - Edit
I got the 3 piece fried chicken. The chicken itself was really tasty. The "chicken" was some of the best meat substitute I've had. The breading was a little off (flavor wise and texture wise) for my taste but that may have been because it was a delivery order and had to sit for a while. The fries were solid and the slaw was actually pretty damn good. The milkshake was great as well. Not perfection, but really great.

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
I ordered the Caesar salad and the Bastid’s original sammie. They were both so delicious! Yum! Honestly, I am a flight attendant, and I order vegan food all over the US and Canada, and this is right up there with the best! Lucky you, Saskatoon ☺️

Solid spot - Edit
Groovy little place with an extensive menu that is really hard to chose from cause everything is awesome. Really impressed by the food here for sure. They have figured out their thing and they are doing it well. The space is abit awkward as someone has mentioned before, the seating could be improved - but the staff was so friendly and kind I really appreciated their personalities and presence! Definitely would come back.

Holy cow that's amazing food - Edit
I went back again after being soooooo pleased with my food. My omni sisters requested we go back to! They wowed us all! I was only visiting this city otherwise I'd be there every week. Tried the "chicken" burger and was wowed! And those coconut shrimps....how even?!? I don't know who makes the shrimp...maybe it's them....but they are woah! I would swear it was not vegan. They are a little sweet with the coconut batter but still ridiculously delicious! 5 stars for these cute place!

Vegan soul food - Edit
All vegan restaurant. Gud eats has a good range of diner foods such as chick'n and waffles, mac n cheeze, poutine, burgers and floats. Not somewhere to go if you're looking for health food. I personally appreciate that because its nice to be able to have somewhere to go to treat yourself and also to show people that vegan doesn't have to mean raw, gluten free, organic non-GMO food.
Read moreThe service is always quite friendly. Some of the seating is a bit uncomfortable because its mostly stools.
They also have a section at the front of the store that sells vegan groceries like beyond meat patties, cheeze etc.
I would 100% recommend this place for anyone who wants some good old vegan junk food.
Pros: Delicious, Large menu, Big Portion sizes
Cons: uncomfortable seating

Entirely vegan menu - Edit
I've really enjoyed all the food I've tried here and I've been a few times but I don't care for the seating. I know they are likely just trying to utilize the space they have but most of the seating is along a narrow counter all the way down the wall with stools. I found it uncomfortable and too close together but the patio is great.

Fab food - Edit
It took a couple of buses and a walk to reach this location, but it was worth it. There are many menu items I’d like to try, but this first visit I had the reputedly good Chili Mac ‘n’ Cheez, $14.50: corn flour macaroni, herbed bread crumbs, almond parmesan, spicy four-bean chili, chili cheez sauce, pico de gallo and avocado cilantro creme - wow! You can add Beyond Crumble for $4.50. There are local beers on tap and many other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Lots of “comfort food” on the menu, desserts too. I will return for the Bourbon BBQ Burger and more - the loaded poutine sounds amazing! They also sell some vegan grocery items and cookies. When I learned in the Vegans of Saskatoon Facebook group that the Gud food truck would be parked behind Soul Foods, Riversdale (May 2019) - easier for me to get to - I hurried over and had the great cheezburger (with their bourbon BBQ sauce in place of ketchup), $10.50 + tax. Next visit I had the fried-chickn burger. Fun food!

Would buy in this neighbourhood. - Edit
In Saskatoon for work and was worried i wouldn’t find a good place to eat. This little restaurant is hiding in a quiet residential neighbourhood. If I was going to move to Saskatoon it would be within waking distance to this place. Super friendly staff and great service. Came for lunch and dinner. Will be back every time I return to the city.

My favourite vegan spot hands down. All the vegan food you could ask for, all crazy delicious and they even have vegan caesars for that cherry on top. It’s my first stop when ever visiting Saskatoon.

Vegan comfort food! - Edit
This was the first all-vegan restaurant I had ever been to, and I couldn't believe how easy, fun and amazing it was to not have to try and search for something to eat.... Just the opposite! It's hard not to order one of each! I've tried almost everything on the menu but always come back to the Return of the Mac and that darn 3 piece chick'n dinner, oh so yummy and comforting :))

Maybe it’s what I ordered.. - Edit
The ‘shrimp’ tacos were very underwhelming. They promised them to be fishy tasting and indistinguishable from real ones, but I found them (and the sauce) to just be bland and it was put together sloppily.
Read moreI did also order the corn dog and that was however very good!
I LOVE their decals on the napkins and food wrapping and think the overall marketing is great! I like how they had prepackaged vegan foods you can bring home too.
Next time I won’t get the tacos but maybe will try something else that hopefully will impress me the same as the corn dog did. :)
Pros: Cute decor, Lots of vegan made versions of classics
Cons: Expensive
