The pizzas here are lovely, amazing dough and a good selection of toppings. The service is great and they have a kid's pizza too.

I love Grumpy’s, it’s only down the road from me so somewhere we make a habit of visiting. The stone baked pizza bases are delicious and they get the right balance of tomato base / vegan cheese. Always busy with a nice little suburban vibe, lovely outside area too.

Superb wood-fired pizza - Edit
My son's football team was playing just down the road from Grumpy's today. It's not a part of Leeds I know well, so I did my research on Happy Cow and booked us in for some lunch here after his match. I'm so pleased I did, as all of us really enjoyed the food, and the service was excellent.
Read moreI chose a vegetarian pizza with goat's cheese and beetroot, which was the best pizza I have had in some time. They serve meat here, but they have a great selection both for vegetarians and vegans, including a create-your-own pizza option. The beetroot side-salad we shared was tasty, and I'd recommend leaving room for one of the excellent desserts!
I didn't sample them, but it was nice to see some interesting alcohol-free beers on the menu, too.
The restaurant is small and busy, so I'd advise booking ahead, but it is clearly popular, and deservedly so.

Great options and tasty pizza - Edit
Grumpys was such a great place for vegan pizza - with make your own with a range of different toppings. The vegan cheese was superb and the base was so fluffy and tasty!!

Excellent pizza, service and atmosphere - Edit
I'm really pleased to have Grumpy's on my doorstep. Menu is small but mighty with vegan and gluten-free options available. Specials usually include a vegan option too. Service is always friendly and the atmosphere is cool and relaxed. Great place to take non-vegan pals so everyone is happy.
