Questionable service - Edit
We were looking for a quick bite on our way to do some sightseeing, and the reviews for this place were good, so we stopped here. After spending some time figuring out what we wanted to order, my husband asked the counter worker about ordering and she told us it would be a 40 minute wait for a table. There were open tables (albeit dirty because there’s no place to bus the dishes) abound. He asked about take away and she said it would be the same 40 min wait. He had not yet told her what he wanted to order. After getting a bite for the kids at the bagel place down the street, I decided to try asking myself in case something got lost in translation. Another worker told me the wait depended on what we wanted to order. I asked about the mushroom barley porridge (which we heard was authentically Danish and wanted to try) and she told us 20 mins. We got the dhal for a 5 min wait. It was fine, but the experience left a bad taste in our mouths.

Solid meals - Edit
Have been to the Grød chains a few times for their bowls because they are always consistently good! I love the ristotto fritters with the truffle Mayo, dry roasted almonds, cabbage and apple salad. Pretty good service too, though there’s usually only one worker- but they have all been quite friendly and kind despite being always rather busy. There is also space to set up your laptop with power and to work here for a little. Haven’t tried the porridge yet but perhaps one day since many people like it.
