I came to this place based on the positive reviews.. the burgers are veeery heavy and oily.. taste is pretty basic and prices over the roof.

I've tried the vegan crispy chicken burger. It's really, really good. One of the best burgers I've tried, ever. It was quite expensive.. Almost 13€.

The BBQ sauce included Worcester-sauce with fish. Mayonnaise was with egg.
Also the cocktail sauce included eggs.

Yesterday i had again a great dinner at the Grill.bar. as a saisonal offer they have a vurrito at the moment, filled with regional produced pea-protein without soya. I also like the vegan burger very much.

Large portions, good ingredients, but... - Edit
The bun, veggies and sauces were excellent. The tvp patty however, I didn't really like. It's like someone tried to use soy crumbles instead of ground beef and the result is a very brittle, not very tasty lump of protein.

Read moreThey offer two different big vegan burgers. once the standard vegan burger with soy patty and the pita 2.0 vegan burger with a special pita burger bun.
they also offer a big variety of salads and one vegan dessert. the restaurant is located directly in the center of amstetten directly in the front of amstettens train station. the outdoor seating with its big trees is wonderful when the weather is fine.
The staff is always friendly and polite. all thumbs up for Grill.BAR!!
