It's expensive but there's no doubt Greenlife is like a small eco-friendly vegan supermarket that offers everything you could want. Household products, superfoods, supplements, pantry staples, zero-waste items, organic local produce, fresh on-the-go snacks (the Teriyaki sushi roll in the fridge has been a favourite snack for years), chocolate, even soy wax candles and salt lamps. You can shop for health, ethics and/or pleasure. It's a gem.
Read moreRecently I bought some limited edition strawberry and vanilla non-alcoholic bubbly and gluten-free orange and cranberry cookies and I sat outside in the sun and devoured them, then went back in and bought more...for a friend. All I can say is don't go shopping here if you're in a "I want to treat myself" kind of mood, you'll hurt your bank account.

One of the best health food shops I have visited. Huge selection of products, Ecover refills available and a large refrigerated section. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

They had everything we needed to make a great dinner and many more things besides. Helpful staff were happy to drop what they were doing and find things for us. Several staff on the checkout meant there was very little waiting time despite being busy.

This shop is brimming with just about everything you could ever need from a health food store. From fresh goods, everything fridge and freezer wise, bathroom and cleaning products. So many different choices too. I visit Totnes quite regularly and always go here to top up with things that aren't even available in Glastonbury (and that's saying something!). LOVE IT!
