Pleasant courtyard garden - Edit
It would be easy to miss this little cafe as the board outside is tiny! But it’s a nice slightly old fashioned traditional veggie cafe behind a wholefood shop with good coffee (and bread pudding!) which we enjoyed sitting outside in the courtyard garden.

Very pleasant café - Edit
We only visited for cake and coffee, which was good (vegan cakes!), but would like to visit for lunch some other time. A very pleasant atmosphere (use of mobile phones not allowed) and an emphasis on organic produce, which is really great!

Wonderful simple organic food - Edit
This place is old skool, its moved on from lentils and nuts but doesn't quite go as far as being gourmet. Think soups, salads and simple offerings, all local, all seasonal.
Read moreThe menu is small but when your working with seasonal produce so it should be.A visit to the Greenhosue is a nutritional stop off, it give you the energy you need to battle through Norwich's shoppers whilst fighting off all the 3 and 4g networks buzzing your brain cells!
The Greenhouse = nutrition and is a quite oasis compared to the cray world outside....oh and their coffee n cake is pretty good too!
Pros: High quality organic food, Mobile phones have to be switced off, Lovely courtyard and shop
Cons: Daytime only

Pleasant cafe with garden - Edit
I only had a herbal tea here (orange and coconut) but there were lots to choose from and the lunch menu looked good. Soup was cauliflower and coconut.

Savory Rolls - Edit
Very pleasant atmosphere and refreshing food. If you come here for lunch, as I have done several times, there is always a different soup and a selection of sandwiches with the choice of rye or wholemeal bread. I have had a delicious mushroom pate sandwich (which comes served with salad) on several occasions now and always feel satisfied; tasty and great value... but if that sounds too generic for you, then I must recommend the Savory Rolls, not sure exactly what makes them taste so great but I have never had anything so moorish!

Traditional Veggie Food, Mostly Vegan, Awesome Cakes! - Edit
Very nice little cafe with indoor and courtyard seating. We had lentil and red pepper soup (massive bowlful served with bread), savoury roll with salads and choccy desserts. The savoury roll was pastry stuffed with rice, nuts etc. and was a bit bland but the salads were nice. Soup had very good flavour.

Pros: Very Vegan Friendly, Desserts!, Nice Atmosphere

Good food - Edit
I had hummus with olives, pita bread and salad for lunch. It was a good size, nice and filling and good value. We were the only people in the cafe but I imagine it has a good atmosphere when there are more people around!

It's very enjoyable, when it's sunny, to have food in the small garden space out the back. Nice food and atmosphere

Vege cafe - Edit
Good vegetarian food, but a bit boring. Just beacuse I'm vegan doesn't mean it has to be organic, healthy etc... Nice garden to sit out in the summer though. They have book fairs sometimes.

Nice - Edit
This really is quite a homely, wholesome place. The food is pretty standard fare of the home cooked variety your mother would probably make, but the ambience, location and kindness of the volunteers that run the place make up a large part of the charm. The prices are reasonable and there is an impressive range of local produce.

Tasty & wholesome grub - Edit
Sweet little co-operative cafe/restaurant on top of a whole-food store. Have been several times and always liked it. Quite standard, wholesome veggie/vegan fare, but always enjoyable. Good position, close to picturesque Norwich town centre, and a nice homely atmosphere especially as staff have a vested interest. Worth checking their opening hours and nights because I've been caught out a few times and found it closed in the evening.
