Great variety of vegan options - Edit
Terrific selection of vegan options here that have increased over the years. Nice variety of choices with my favorite being the vegan French toast with cinnamon and apples. Cute place where the happy owner clearly enjoys what he does.

Good vegan and gluten-free options - Edit
They had more vegan and Gluten free options than we expected. Downstairs is more laid back but also noisier than upstairs. We opted for the vegan breakfast and the vegan quiche. The quiche tasted really nice but it didn’t fiöl me up and came with just salad. For the price, i think they should add chips or something. The vegan breakfast looked ok but not particularly exciting. The cakes looked really good but we didn’t try any. Shame it is closed on Sundays or we would have come back to sample the cakes or scones.

Great place for brunch or afternoon tea - Edit
Have been a handle of times and always had great drinks and food. They have a vegan breakfast which was okay, the Tofu was a little plain and unseasoned but other than that delicious and they always have a few vegan cake options too which are always delicious. Downstairs has a more funky feel but and then upstairs feels quite old fashioned but I like it. Feels very traditional and the perfect place to have an afternoon tea.

Oh dear! - Edit
I really wanted to like this cafe as I’m going to be in Salisbury a lot but no! I ordered the vegan mac and cheese with salad and was quite frankly lost for words! The mac and cheese tasted like a (bad) ready meal and the salad consisted of a couple of lettuce leaves. I ate a couple of mouthfuls and gave up. The waiter didn’t even ask how my meal was and given I left most of it I was quite shocked at that. Anyway, would I do again - no.

Lovely dog friendly cafe - Edit
We visited on a Saturday lunchtime when cafe was busy. Party of 4 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog so a lot to fit in. We were warned it may be a bit of a squash but were accommodated at a table that was fine for us, a bowl of water brought over for the dog and offered a space to store our pushchair. Lots of vegan options which were delicious. Bought cake to take away with us which were also delicious. So pleased to have a choice of cakes, and an offering of 4 or 5 different plant milks. Staff were friendly and we will definitely return if in the area again.

Our new go-to for lunch! - Edit
Would happily give this place 5 stars, if I could! Such delicious food, and quite a good variety of vegan options too - always a couple of specials in addition to the selection on the menu. Love the selection of coffee, too! Have yet to try breakfast, or the cakes - can't wait to come back to do so. Service was super fab and friendly.

Disappointing - Edit
As with the previous review, I was served non-vegan coleslaw with the vegan quiche. My partner was also served an egg with his vegan sausage, beans and chips. When I checked my coleslaw, I was first told that everything we had was vegan. We then noticed and pointed out the egg and the waitress went to check everything. I was only told then that my coleslaw wasn't vegan. They have lots of vegan offer, but I'd rather have little choice and actually get something vegan.

Great brunch! - Edit
Vegan/Veggie/meat options. All clearly displayed and on main menu. More than a token effort - not made to feel a freak here. All served promptly, friendly staff, great food. Was fab until 6 lads sat next to us and all ordered meat. So we left.

Disappointed - Edit
Looked promising but the side salad that came with the vegan quiche was topped with non-vegan coleslaw. Glad I double checked... they were "unsure it was vegan and changed the salad.
Read moreThe soup came with non-vegan butter. The quiche was hard and if I'm honest I'm not sure if it was even vegan. I asked and they would check but they didn't come back to me and at this point I was just over it and left. So disappointed. If you offer so many vegan options, please just be sure you know what you're doing. The soup was good though so I'm sure you can have a lovely lunch here. Just be sure to double check!!!
Pros: A lot of choice
Cons: dairy items served with vegan food without notice

Several good vegan breakfast options - Edit
We came here for breakfast having seen the menu online. It has the usual type of breakfasts, but there is tofu scramble instead of eggs and vegan cheese available. Everything was well cooked and tasty. It's nice to have options.

Nice spot for lunch - Edit
Very nice café, perfect spot for lunch. The menu has several vegan items, I tried the vegan scampi bites, which were quite good and kind of tasted like those battered fish fillets you eat as a child. Portions were quite big and staff was friendly.

First class vegan food - Edit
Although not a vegan restaurant there is no doubt that the vegan alternative on the specials menu will go down on my meals to remember list! Beautifully cooked cashew stir fry with rice, and served sufficiently hot that it could be eaten slowly and thankfully. There were four vegan milks to choose for my capuccino too.

Great little cafe! - Edit
We often take a trip out to Salisbury but never knew this place was here, such a pleasant suprise to find a cafe that caters so well for vegans with an extensive range of meals, vegan cakes, and that also allows dogs! Very attentive staff, the earl grey tea, bbq jackfruit and sausage and chutney baguettes were delicious, will definitely be our go-to place in Salisbury from now on :-)

tasty food in central Salisbury - Edit
I went today for a spot of lunch in a very busy Christmas packed Salisbury. My mum enjoyed a gluten free sandwich and I had the choice of 2-3 things off the main menu. I couldn't see the specials board but there may have been something on their too. In the past I've had a stir fry off it. Today I had a jacket potato and a vegan curry. Pretty tasty. They offered me a vegan butter. I'm not sure they actually remembered to add it though. Nice staff. Pleasant atmosphere.

Nice tea room and food - Edit
Pleasant tea room and cafe. Some veg'n items and baked potatoes. I had the vegetable-lentil stew, £8.25, served steaming hot: large chunks of root vegetables, yellow pepper, mushrooms and onion, tomato-y sauce, only a few lentils, over white rice: tasty enough but could be done better (more lentils, smaller chunks of vegetables, something dark green in it for colour). Pleasant service. Central location.
