I Feel Safe Here - Edit
Vegans and vegetarians can enjoy Asian-style cuisine here. Everything is nearly perfect, except for the mediocre service from the elderly staff and the expensive price tag for vegetables.

Fast, convenient, lovely food - Edit
As a Malay vegan I cannot tell you how much I miss local faves... This hit the spot. I live in the UK so lionsmane mushroom is insanely expensive, but nice to see them use it in the rendang!!

Local Delights & Seasonal Specials - Edit
One of the many Greendot outlets around Singapore, with the standard menu~ Love the bestselling laksa and Ipoh hor fun (vegan version available)! They do have seasonal specials, such as the upcoming Christmas menu. They are currently also running promotions for their dim sum, oat milk latte, and vegan parfait cups as well (up to 50% off, till end Dec 2023). Appreciate that the menus are labelled to indicate which items contain egg and dairy, and they also seem to shifting towards an increasingly vegan-friendly concept! Conveniently linked to Serangoon MRT.

Always get scolded by aunties - Edit
The aunties working at greendot are very fierce. They always scold me about the extra $1 they charge for the main dishes. Yesterday my mother's friend treated us to a meal and she also got scolded by the aunties. "Extra $2 OK!!!!" Yelled very loud like she is stupid. Seriously if I can avoid greendot I will.

Love the Ipoh hor fun, especially the indulgent savory gravy, and I think it has a little herbal taste to it. The comforting plate also came with prawns, wantons and beancurd rolls!

Refreshing drink and I think it goes real well with the Rendang dish. Something light to pair with the heavy dish!

Lovely spread of dishes but I absolutely adore their Taiwanese noodles and their free chili with bits of meat in there! This is my go to whenever I’m in malls and if colleagues wants an interesting vegetarian place.

Mee pok with gyoza, bentos - Edit
Mee pok with gyoza is one of Greendot's best seller, not bad, still prefer their bento set more, the rendang lion mane mushroom is great, sesame rice and other dishes are good too, the turmeric basmati rice is lightly seasoned yet flavourful, goes well with the rendang lion mane, the mixed mushroom is delicious, eggplant is the "green" that i liked most, laksa is not spicy at all for me, and the coconut milk is too thick, too milky for me.

overall the food is rather pricey but the quality of the dish makes up for it. delicious and healthy meals with reasonable-large portions! my non veg friends and family enjoy dining here! do try to come earlier to avoid the peak hour wait.
Pros: vegan options clearly labelled, many (V) options, friendly staff, quick service
Cons: a lil pricey

More choice than other branches - Edit
This greendot branch had a bit more choice than what I was used to from the Buona Vista one. Had the Tom Yum Noodle Soup. As always with green dot, it's fine though simple. I generally wish for more fresh veggies with them

Food is good, service needs improvement - Edit
Food was good and ok for value, prices range from $6-$12. The servers need to be more educated about vegetarian and vegan options. We got a salad and I told them I was lactose intolerant, but they still gave me a yoghurt dressing. When I asked if the dressing had dairy inside, they were clueless and did not offer me an alternative. The staff was quite rude and curt too.

Ok food but expensive - Edit
I tried the bento set, which was rather disappointing. The main I tried (I forgot the name) was rather dry and hard to chew. The vegetable was ok but I definitely expected more because of the high price charged (7.90).

just perfect - Edit
We love laksa and thats why we came here twice. the first time we ordered the standart laksa and expected more vegetables inside. Then we got the recommendation from a staff to try the mushroom bowl (you can chose which soup you want and if you wana have it with rice or Spagetti) it was sooooo good and as we were searching for a vegan laksa with enough vegetables for a long time it it was even better. The menue stats clearly whats vegan and the staff didnt mind leaving the monton away to make it vegan. we were here at 8pm the restaurant was full and we had to qeue up but not for long and they managed to bring our dinneres short after I have ordered it. would go the again and again...

Great Food & Service - Edit
I was very excited to see a healthy veg option in NEX. I tried it out very soon and was very happy with the food. There are a variety of dishes and you can also create your own bento set. All are delicately flavored and are not oily at all.
