We were delighted by this store! We were able to diversify our pantry a bit during our month in Costa Rica. They had coconut-milk yogurt, excellent small-batch almond and cashew cheese, small-batch Rasta-style pickled veggies (sort of like sauerkraut with carrots), small-batch miso, interesting breads and other baked goods, and lots of spices. They also had a wider array of produce than you'd get at a grocery. As in the rest of Costa Rica, the only tofu there was Roland brand canned tofu, but since that's surprisingly decent, we were okay with that. There's also a juice bar though that wasn't open when were were there (too early). The prices are somewhat high, but it's understandable. The woman behind the counter was lovely and helpful.

The canned tofu was edible? I couldn't bring myself to pay $10 for it. 😭😭😭
