One of my favorite HTX restaurants - PLEASE COME BACK!!! - Edit
I come here all the time. I think I’ve had everything on their menu and nothing ever disappointed me. The desserts were so amazing that I had to get one of each a couple times. Take my money! Come back to Houston! The staff is also super friendly!!! That is all I have to say! My birthday is June 30th and they just sent me an email for a coupon. I’m low-key thinking of driving to their San Antonio location so that I can have my Birthday Meal at Green. I just have to, It’s been a tradition for the past 3-4 years!

Great food & service - Edit
Quaint unassuming little storefront. Would have missed it without happy cow. Glad I didn't. Falafel burrito & tortilla soup were extremely tasty and fresh. The service and thoughtfulness right on point down to the cucumber heart garnish.

If you’re looking for something straight out of a can and loaded up with sugar, you’ve found the right place. Service is terrible as well - at least I’ve never before had a server argue with me about what I ordered.

Some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had - Edit
I LOVE green vegetarian cuisine!! Every time I go, it’s delicious. This location is great, but the one in San Antonio is even More phenomenal, so if you get the chance, go to both! I LOVE the bowls at these restaurants - the way they cook their kale is SO tasty. Their desserts are phenomenal too. If you’re vegan and looking to impress some non veg friends, this is the place to go!

Great find... - Edit
We just started the eating healthier and vegetarian path recently after being more educated and having an open mind. What started with trying it for 1 week is now almost 2 months! Anyways this place rocks...and we wouldn't have found it without this app. Great food, tasty, a lot of choices and selections that makes it that much easier to be vegetarian and eat healthy. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere makes it pleasant to dine. On a side note, the manager with the beard is on top of everything...you can tell he definitely takes pride in his work and the establishment....props!

Favorite vegan restaurant in Houston - Edit
I came here yesterday with someone who is a meat eater and this easily became our favorite veg-friendly restaurant. The service was the best service I have ever had at any veg-friendly restaurant in the Houston area. The food was delicious! I had the enchiladas (which came with rice and beans) and my boyfriend had the BBQ quesadillas (the vegetarian version) with french fries. I ate my whole plate it was so good and even stole some french fries, which were great! We also both had a snickerdoodle cupcake each, and they were so good that I thought this could easily be mistaken for a non-vegan dessert. Definitely will be coming back and I would love to try their brunch!

Green is a solid choice - Edit
I am always satisfied with my experiences at Green. I've dined in restaurant for brunch and dinner, and have gotten take out on numerous occasions. The menu is all vegetarian, and much of it is vegan and everything can be modified to be made vegan. The protein bowl is my absolute favorite! Their vegan dessert options have always been amazing (although sadly they no longer carry vegan soft serve).

I always get too full - Edit
Every time I go to Greens Vegetarian I claim I will eat smaller amounts or take home a portion of what I get. It never works out and they have to roll me out in a wheelbarrow. I'm vegan and they can make anything on the menu vegan so that makes it a great place to go.

Great Vegetarian Restaurant - Edit
I have frequented Green Vegetarian Restaurant quite a few times. I always tend to get their Chopped Barbecue Sandwich which is made from grain. It's quite delicious. Their nachos are super yummy and a bit addictive. On Sundays they have a brunch with breakfast menus. Their pancakes and migas (tofu) are very delicious. Their pecan hummus is one of their best dishes as well. I highly recommend them! The only downside is that they are closed on Saturdays.

Hostess Cupcakes - Edit
I have started making this restaurant a regular part of my Houston trips. Everything I've tried has been excellent and they don't even hesitate when I ask them to make whatever it is vegan.
Read moreHowever......the main reason I HAVE to make a stop here.....the "Hostess" cupcakes. Now, it has been many, many years since I've had the "real thing", but from my recollections, their cupcake is spot on and truly delicious. When you're there, you have to try one.....or a couple.

Would love to come back - Edit
When I visited this restaurant I felt like having something completely healthy to cope with my jet lag, so I went for the Mediterranian Bowl which was really good, but not special or surprising (I could have known that from the description in the menu). I feel, being a tourist and for the first time in Houston, I should have rather gone for something more local, like "Chik'n Parmesan" or "Real Deal Enchiladas"...
