Good Vegan Menu - Edit
At first, I thought this was a vegan restaurant because the name has the word "green" and the sign says "vegan." But this restaurant serves both vegan and non-vegan appetizers and entrees.
Read moreThe vegan pages of the menu do have a nice selection of vegan offerings.
I ordered the fresh tofu rolls and vegan pad Thai. The tofu rolls were bland. They had soft tofu, lettuce, and vermicelli. All the flavor came from the peanut sauce. When we make spring rolls at home, we use basil, mint leaves, bell pepper, mango, etc., and the peanut sauce complements the other flavors. These fresh tofu rolls added nothing.
The pad Thai was very good. I ordered the 3 spice level, and it was just the right amount of spice. The vegan chicken was so-so, a store bought variety. The dish was a little too oily.
Overall, it was pretty good but not great. Good service.

VEGANS BEWARE - THEY GAVE ME CHICKEN!!! - Edit
I specifically mentioned that I was vegan at least 5 times throughout my order, (asked if the fried rice could be made without egg or butter, vegan shrimp, etc.) the first time my server read my order back to me she repeated that I had ordered vegan shrimp. They brought out my green curry with a chicken’s body in it. The sauce is very thick and was difficult to discern what protein I had based on looks or flavor alone, so I ate a few bites before offering some for my mom to try - and she confirmed that it was animal chicken 🤮. I asked the waitress what protein she gave me and she said “chicken”. She said I confirmed my order was chicken before she left the table (which is untrue because I stopped her one last time before she walked away to say “you said vegan shrimp correct?). I couldn’t help but cry, this was the first time I’ve unwillingly eaten animal flesh in three years and it was terribly upsetting. The waitress did apologize and I politely let her know I would not be paying for my experience there. I’ve been a loyal customer here since before the rebrand and even before the pandemic, but this was not a vegan friendly experience and I won’t be returning again - especially after she tried to insist I ordered chicken when my table heard several times that I told her I was vegan. I tried to be understanding of potential language barriers with the waitress by repeating myself so much and pointing to what I wanted on the menu but it seems incredibly risky to have staff that don’t recognize vegan orders at a restaurant that advertises being vegan - especially if someone has serious food allergies.

Best vegan menu for a thai restaurant in Frisco - Edit
There are so many other thai restaurants that loosely use the word "vegan" but this one is really heavily vegan.
Read moreThe food is excellent. The vegan thai mango curry was incredible. We will definitely be going again.
